Peaceful in Portland

I enjoyed my stay here very much, and would definitely rent the studio again if given the opportunity. The property is located in a quiet and lushly green neighborhood of Portland. The owner, Sarahjoy, is very warm and welcoming, and her house is filled with interesting photographs and mementos of her many visits to India. The upstairs studio is quiet and relaxing--a peaceful respite from a long day of work. The other renters on the property were very cool and friendly. If you enjoy hiking, be sure to check out the Woods Memorial Natural Area, a mere 10-minute walk from the house. It's like stepping into another world. It is not an exaggeration to say that this place is not your conventional rental, but a truly interesting and positive experience.

Serene and safe

For a solo female traveler this was the perfect property! S is the kindest woman in the world and best host! I always felt safe and comfortable, always had everything I could need to cook a meal, relax after a shift, and sleep soundly. The property is in a really safe and quiet neighborhood very close to OHSU without have to get on the freeway. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
