Great location

I was by myself in this 2 bedroom and didn't use the 2nd bedroom. I had everything I needed, minutes from West Jefferson Medical Center. The owner's communication & assistance were outstanding. Staying at this place for the duration of my travel contract was as perfect as I could have hoped for. A nice quiet neighborhood. I worked overnights and had no problem sleeping days. I suggested blackout curtains, for future needs, but I managed to hang an extra piece of fabric over the window and it worked for me! I had no desire to go out anywhere and explore, working nights, but I found it to be convenient enough to drive a few minutes down the road to all the stores & restaurants all around. I didn't this trip, but a couple years ago I went on a swamp tour which was lots of fun. There are locations not far from Marrero where the boats pick up tourists.
