Nice Home in a Country Setting - Located just outside Roanoke!

Perfect quiet home in the hills

Functionally, practically, M and his family have set up an ideal place to stay while you work. If you want to relax this is the spot. As anywhere in the Roanoke Valley region you get the occasional rumbling pickup cruising through, and I enjoyed the distant low rhythm of the occasional freight train. The roof on the place seems designed for rain shower naps. The first night there I stepped out onto the little walk and saw stars above me and millions of fireflies in the nearby mountains. My stay was during the summer, and I regret missing the fall there around Roanoke. The hiking is arguably the best in Virginia and the house is a 13-minute drive to several grand overlooks along the Blue Ridge Parkway. I could be off work downtown at 7PM, get home and change, and then drive to see a sunset in good time. I agree with the reviewer T's details of the place. You'll be staying in a clean home run by good, honest people.

Everything you need!

This is a very nicely redone trailer, in the country just outside of Roanoke. Very easy drive into town. It has been supplied with everything you could need for a temporary stay. The kitchen is well equipped and even stocked with basic spices and condiments. The appliances are new and of good quality. The queen bed is firm and very comfortable. Having an office space is a nice bonus (also stocked with basic office supplies). The wifi is fast and has strong signal. The owner Mike was very friendly and professional during the booking process and has made sure everything is ok since arriving. Would definitely recommend this place!
