Mt. Pleasant is a beautiful, quiet, safe, yet lively neighborhood. It's full of trees and close to bike and running paths and hiking trails. The little Mt. P. commercial area has a Saturday farmers market and good restaurants and other services, including an art gallery and the National Zoo! The community is friendly and eclectic. It is adjacent to Cleveland Park, Adams Morgan, Crestwood and Columbia Heights.

We loved our stay!
My husband and I stayed for 6 months and were sad to leave! We fell in love with the location - being right across the street from hiking trails in Rock Creek Park while also being a 20 minute walk from the metro was fantastic! The neighborhood of Mount Pleasant is now the only place Id want to stay in if we ever move back to DC! Rob and Sarah are very kind, quick to help with anything that came up, and their unit was furnished with everything we needed! If you are going to DC this is your place!

Exceptional location and landlords
We had a wonderful six-week stay in this Mount Pleasant apartment. Sara and Rob are incredibly kind, welcoming hosts who made us feel at home right away. The space was clean, spacious, and well equipped, and comfortably fit our family of four, plus visits from our 18-year-old niece, without ever feeling crowded. The kitchen and seating areas were generous, and the backyard access was a great bonus. Sara was extremely responsive and thoughtful, often anticipating our needs and sharing great local tips, especially for families with young kids. The pricing was very fair, and the overall experience was excellent. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

So sad to leave...
Sarah and Family are amazing and this location has been absolutely perfect. It is a quaint english basement in an incredible location. Easy access to the running trails in Rock Creek, National Zoo, Mt. Pleasant. The neighborhood (and neighbors) are the best and if I hadn't changed jobs outside the city, I would never leave. Amenities are also just right and Sarah has been more than responsive to any need or request. I wish I didn't have to leave...

Excellent apt and hosts
This is a super cozy apartment. The furnishings are very cute and u really have all u need. Everything was as pictured. S and R were amazing hosts!! They were easy to get in touch with when we had any questions and were so accommodating. Unfortunately we didn't get to go to the zoo cuz it was closed but it's literally right there and the trail by the house is nice too. It's in a safe neighborhood and there is a cute little town square with restaurants and stores that's abt a 1.5-2 mile walk.
