Staying at the Holt House felt like a home away from home. Dan and Holly are amazing host! They made sure I had everything I needed and were very accommodating if there was anything I needed. I would definitely stay here again. Wonderful place to stay!!

The Paducah Room was a blast!

Holly and Dan are an efficient rental power couple. Holly is a great communicator. She is very quick to respond to inquiry. Dan is amazing at making sure you have what you need as a tenant. Should the weather turn frosty he was prepared with salt. On trash days without fail he had the cans on the curb. I would strongly recommend Holt House as a place to stay.

River Room

The Holt House was an amazing stay. I stayed in the River Room during my 13 week contract at BHPAD. The house is close to everything: grocery stores, restaurants, mall, etc. And Baptist was only a short drive, which was perfect when I was on call. Holly and Dan were absolutely wonderful and super fast to respond anytime I texted them. If I'm ever back in Paducah, I will absolutely stay here again!

Wounderful time in Paduch

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the lovely Holt House and wanted to share my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming hosts who made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable, providing me with a detailed guide of local attractions and restaurants, which was incredibly helpful. The convenience of the property was also a major highlight. Located in a great neighborhood, I was just a drive away from restaurants,shopping and popular spots, making it easy to explore. The accommodation itself was clean, well-decorated, and equipped with amenities such as onsite W/D, full kitchen and internet. Overall, my stay was fantastic thanks to the wonderful hosts Holly and Dan, and the convenient location. I would highly recommend Holt house to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway! Book in advance the rooms go quickly.

Holt House

This was a great place to stay during my two-month rotation at a local hospital. My individual bedroom and bathroom within the house provided plenty of privacy from the other guests. Holly and Dan were great hosts and were happy to address anything I needed. The house is in a quiet area but within walking distance to a few restaurants, which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again if I were heading back to Paducah.

Stay at Holt House

I enjoyed my stay at the Holt House! I stayed in the river room with my dog. There was a large fenced in area which was great for my pup. The owners were quick to respond if I needed anything and were very kind. The area was very safe and I felt comfortable coming and going early in the morning and late at night for work. The house is in great proximity to everything, about a 10-15 minute drive to the river front/downtown and just about everything else you could need too in the Paducah area.

My experience at the Holt House has been phenomenal. I have been treated respectfully. All my needs have been met. The hosts respond quickly and without any issues. The hosts are kind and helpful; even suggesting places to visit or eat. The overall experience has been positive. I highly recommend the Holt House for anyone. A special thank you to the hosts.

This was a nice place to stay. I worked nights and the house was quiet during the day. Would definitely stay again if I make it back to Paducah

The rooms each have their own theme and identity, as well as a private bathroom with lock and key which gives you total privacy. I had the pleasure of staying in the Paducah Room, and then moving into the Kentucky loved them both. The property owners Mrs. H & Mr. D will definitely make you feel at home. Mrs. H. put her personal touches on this property and surely has a knack for hospitality Mr. D. is quick to respond and assist in any way and willing to do as much as he can to make your stay comfortable. They are amazing people with a genuine heart. I truly believe that you meet people in seasons of your life who make an impact, and Mrs. H, and Mr. D. are two who I will cherish as a part of my first travel assignment. One thing is fore sure, and that is if I'm ever assigned to another contract in Paducah, Kentucky I hope The Holt House is available. I would love to revisit and I recommend anyone to have The Holt House experience there's no place like it. Best,

Bluegrass room

Loved my stay in the Bluegrass room. Lovely home, walking distance to everything. Mall, Sam's club, Walmart, countless restaurants, movie theater, everything within 1 mile or less. City Park with greenway and trails down the street. Home is clean. Housemates were great. Owners very responsive. Only con was the noise level due to construction but owners did try and start work when I was away.

Kentucky Room

I had a great stay in the Kentucky room! I loved the Holt House. The owners were very kind and helpful, along with being very responsive to any questions or requests! I had excellent housemates - I feel like long with others in the house helped alleviate the loneliness that can come with being a traveling healthcare provider. We all had to do background checks before moving in and Ive always felt safe. We each had our own bathroom - and everything we needed in our own rooms- so you could either be social or a hermit! Depending on your mood! There was plenty of things to do around Paducah, also. I went kayaking, biking and hiking. I joined The Gym and Planet Fitness- both great. The people here are wonderful. Plenty of shopping and entertainment.

River Room Review

Excellent property with extremely helpful property owners. I forgot my keys late at night with no one staying at the property, and the owner went to unlock the door. Would stay there again!

Bluegrass Room

This place was great, Mrs. H and Mr. D was the best landlords every. They made sure everything was perfect, I definitely recommend this place for a stay.

Everything You Need

This property was exactly what I needed for my travel contract. The hosts have thought of everything you might need or want and provided. Each room has a separate key and your own bathroom. The main kitchen is shared so it's more like a housemate situation in that you don't know what you are going to get. Half of my stay had great considerate housemates, the other half was less so. There are puzzles in the living room which I was able to enjoy and the hosts are great at recommending local things. Also if you need anything while you are there they are pretty consistently making sure the house is ok and quick to respond to any issues. I'd stay here if I returned for sure.

Absolutely enjoyed my time at the Holt House. Beautiful clean, home in the heart of Paducah minutes away from all your shopping needs. D and H were amazing host that made me feel safe,respected, and welcome in their property. Would not hesitate to rent from this awesome family again. Do not wait, if you are visiting Paducah or the surrounding area, book fast this property will go quickly.

Your home away from home

I had the pleasure of staying in the Mattingly's Kentucky room while on assignment there. Their home is spacious and beautiful, it was home away from home for me. They were very welcoming, and repaired anything that needed fixing in a timely manner. It was very quiet and private, even when sharing with other tenants. I promise there would be no regrets when renting a room at Holt House.

The best hidden gem

H was extremely easy to work with. On top of that, so understanding. House was well kept. Had great roommates. The BEST location. Quiet and tucked away. Couldnt ask for much more.

Kentucky/Paducah Rooms

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Holt House. I stayed in both Kentucky and Paducah Rooms and both were absolutely great. The rooms are cozy, clean, and stocked with everything I could ever need. The owners are great, and helped out whenever I needed assistance. They were quick to respond and help out. The Holt House is in the perfect location in Paducah, very accessible to everything. The Holt House is in a very safe neighborhood, and I always felt very comfortable.

Everything was as shown. The room was really nice and comfortable. Very close to everything. The owners are always a text away if I needed anything, and always replied fast.

Attention to detail! Amazing place!

The Holt House was beyond anything I expected! The entire home was beautifully decorated. There were teas and raw honey, soaps, linen sprays and so so much more. I was so comfortable in here and appreciated everything the owners did for me! I would highly recommend staying! I know I would go back!

Paducah Room- Wonderful stay!

My fianc and I stayed at Holt House in the Paducah Room for 2 months, and we had a perfect experience! The entire home was extremely cozy and clean, and had everything we needed. If the house was missing anything or we needed something, D and H would quickly get back to us with a solution! They are the definition of southern comfort! The commute to the hospital was quick and simple. We really enjoyed our stay, and would not hesitate to recommend to another.
