Cozy Studio

Studio Cairo is the perfect spot in Portland. I have not only stayed with Lori once but twice. It is the perfect location in a friendly neighborhood. Bike friendly location and beautiful parks nearby. Lori is the best host and made me feel right at home. Her yard is beautiful in every season. She is so friendly and always greeted me with a smile. The space is the perfect size, and has all the amenities I needed. This is the ideal location for a short stay while in Portland.

Fantastic host, studio, parking, location

Lori is a fantastic host who truly cared about my experience and made it an amazing one. There was always street parking, the studio space is beautiful and doesn't feel like a basement. The yard is great, has a huge Douglas fir, and the trails around the golf course a few blocks away offer a wonderful nature experience and views of Mt Hood. Highly recommend in every way!

Great Host & Great Neighborhood

We enjoyed our 3 month stay at Lori's property. This basement unit is clean, well kept and Lori's yard is absolutely beautiful. While not a full kitchen, it has everything you need for preparing your meals! We felt very comfortable here and Lori was a friendly and wonderful host. Our dog Queso loved the backyard and hanging out with Lori's dog, Cairo. Also, the neighborhood is ideal for evening walks and a great location within Portland!

Outstanding and Excellent Value

I recently had a need for temporary housing in Portland. After a good deal of research I found Studio Cairo and that investment in time paid off! This property is in a wonderful neighborhood with friendly people and more importantly is safe and quiet. It is an easy place to stay organized in if you have a need for project management during your stay. The pictures shown are representing the space well, so that is exactly what you are getting that you see in the listing. If you are driving while in Portland there is always plenty of parking available on the block and if you aren't there is a bus stop close by. I was here during the unexpected historic snowfall this past winter and it was safe and warm during that tricky time. At the same time I stayed here during some pretty warm days was nice and cool then as well. The property owner is kind, attentive, and easy to get along with. I would recommend staying here without reservation, it's a great place and very reasonably priced as well.

Sweet owner, comfortable setup

I was so blessed to be able to stay at this property. The owner is incredibly sweet and welcoming and took care of me and my dog so well. The space is beautifully decorated and it felt like a home away from home. The neighborhood is full of friendly people and the location is great if you want to get out and explore the amazing food and activities in Portland. Thank you, L, for making my stay so enjoyable!

Clean, cozy and new

I stayed at Lori's property over the summer while working at PeaceHealth SW in Vancouver, WA. It's only 7 miles from the hospital. The studio is adorable, new and very clean. L is a wonderful, warm and welcoming host. I highly recommend the rental to everyone. I stayed for 3 months and would have gladly extended but the travel life sent me elsewhere.
