The best host ever!

I stayed at Nancy’s place over the summer while completing an internship, and I truly loved every moment of living there. The space is incredibly comfortable, beautifully set up, and so thoughtfully organized. Everything you need is already there, which makes settling in effortless from day one. Nancy is amazing. She is kind, thoughtful, and genuinely such a wonderful person. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely welcomed, comfortable, and safe in her home. She goes above and beyond to make sure you feel taken care of, which made my experience even more special. She also has the sweetest dog, Cookie, who is unbelievably well behaved and an absolute joy to be around. Cookie adds so much warmth to the home. If you are looking for a place where everything is provided and you do not have to worry about logistics, I would highly recommend Nancy’s place. My stay was such a positive and memorable experience, and I felt truly at home the entire time.

Cozy studio

Great location. The studio has everything you need. Nancy the landlord is very helpful. The studio is located a nice neighborhood, with Costco and a farmer's market very close to location.

Excellent

Safe, quiet, private, clean. Nancy's hospitality is unmatched. The neighbors/neighborhood is lovely. Costco is literally 3 mins walking, farmers market 2 minutes walking, cvs is a 5minute drive, TONSSSSS of food options. Communication was always clear and timely, the property was well maintained, and any questions or concerns were addressed quickly. Very accommodating; I have many food intolerances and the property manager made sure to add a second fridge so I could have extra space.

Ideal location to get to know the area

I stayed in one of Nancy's studios for three months after I came to the area to start work at Stanford. It was a perfect location for getting to know Redwood City—a great farmer-style market around the corner, so many delicious taco spots on Middlefield, and a very pleasant walk to downtown. My commute to Palo Alto was easy (no freeway), and the studio was a quiet and well organized place to come home to each day. Nancy was always kind and extremely responsive to people's needs. The space was very clean, with plenty of room for my things and a great shower in the bathroom (which is important to me!).

Lovely Stay

I stayed in Nancy's Blue studio with my partner from July-August 2025 and we have nothing but positive things to say! Location: I stayed here while doing a medical internship at Stanford. The commute was easy, there was never traffic and I did not have to take the freeway to get there. I was able to park in the driveway which was super convenient though there is also amble street parking too. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. There's also a lot of great places to eat and shop nearby. Our favorite place to go was broadway street in Redwood city. Recommend eating at Mazra, Vesta, the sandwich spot and Milagros. Nancy also has a great list of places to eat. Room: The room was comfortable and spacious, enough for two people. The kitchen has everything you need and there was plenty of closet space. Host: Nancy is super friendly and accommodating. She responds via text within minutes. She also has the sweetest most well behaved dog that loves people.

Safe, comfortable, and clean GEM in Redwood City!

This studio was an absolute gem of a find! It was spotless, perfectly organized, and stocked with every essential, making it super easy to transition into. The location was so convenient to downtown, a short drive to countless great restaurants and stores. Nancy is truly the sweetest and most accommodating landlord I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! Warm, caring, and quick to respond, she made my entire stay stress-free and comfortable. For travel healthcare workers or anyone looking for a place to stay, this is the perfect place to land. Amazing Place in Redwood City

I stayed in Nancys Green studio from May-July 2025 and I loved it! Location: I stayed here while doing summer research at Stanford. The commute was easy. There's lots of great places to eat and shop nearby. I especially enjoyed the farmer's market which is a 5 minute walk away. Pets: It was hard to find a nice place to stay because I have a cat. Nancy loves well behaved pets and let me bring mine. It was such a relief to be able to have my cat with me. Nancy even checked up on me when my cat had to go to the emergency vet! Host: Nancy is super friendly and accommodating. She gauges your preferred level of communication; she'll chat if you like, or give you space. I felt like I had a caring aunt looking out for me, which was so comforting being far from home. Unit: It was immaculate when I moved in. It's well-appointed with linens, appliances, even hangers. All I had to bring was clothing and personal items. Overall: A gem of a unit and a phenomenal host. I highly recommend it!

Comfortable and Enjoyable!

Nancys house is mindfully crafted for a comfortable stay. My ensuite room was beautifully decorated and she had thought of all the things you might need, like lots of hangars and plenty of storage space in the closet, bathroom and even under the bed. There was a desk, mini fridge, coffee machine and kettle in the room. She was planning more improvements as well. Nancy was very friendly and happy to either leave you be when you were in the shared spaces or was chatty when you felt like it. The kitchen was clean and well-appointed. The outside was beautiful with lovely landscaping and lots of places to sit and enjoy the flowers. Nancy carefully selects her guests to help ensure the harmonious sharing of space among professional adults. I highly recommend staying with Nancy!

Aunt's Place

I had a wonderful experience staying at Nancy's place for a few months. Here's a detailed review of my stay: Host: Nancy is an exceptional host - friendly, smart, charming, and wise. Common Areas: There's access to a full kitchen with space for storing personal food items. The home itself is quiet, providing a peaceful environment. Social Aspect: The living situation offers flexibility in terms of social interaction. You can be as social or private as you and your housemates choose to be. Location: The property is conveniently located near Downtown Redwood City, but not too close - which I found to be ideal. It offers a good balance between accessibility and tranquility. Overall Experience: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Nancy's place. If not for personal circumstances, I would have happily continued my stay for a longer period. This property comes highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and friendly living situation in Redwood City.

Beautiful, convenient, and safe

I rented a room with Nancy several times during medical school for various rotations and it has always been such an amazing experience. Nancy was easy to communicate with and the space is very inviting. There is a beautiful garden on the property and plenty of communal space to enjoy. The room had an updated and clean bathroom and a comfy bed. The neighborhood is very safe with easy access to the highway, downtown Redwood City, and the Stanford medical campus.

The Best of the Best!

Over the years Ive stayed at My Aunts House so much that Ive practically moved in with N! The house and gardens are beautiful, the environment is relaxed and friendly. Im a quiet person who doesnt socialize much, and that is not a problem there, no one bothers me so I get as much privacy as I want.

Serene little oasis, perfect for young professionals

This cottage is such a hidden gem. I travel a lot for work and this is by far one of the nicest places Ive ever stayed. Its quiet and private, which I really appreciated. The bed was comfy and the kitchen is well equipped with brand new appliances. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Stay

N & S are amazing landlords and their dog is the absolute cutest. I rented their Yellow Room after extending my travel contract at Stanford Healthcare. The commute is short, which I personally preferred. N & S are always friendly. They ensure that all their renters feel welcomed and at home. N also really enjoys cooking and her meals are absolutely delicious! I would have continued renting here if I did not have to move for another job.

Great stay

Great stay, location, and people! N and S are wonderful. Its like coming home to family when staying here. Love the private entrance and parking included. Plus beautiful garden and cute friendly dog on property.

Like a Second Home

I absolutely love staying here. N and S are wonderful and caring and always down for great conversation. The dogs are very entertaining as well. The property is spacious and clean with shared areas on top of your own private space. A quiet and safe neighborhood a short distance from work with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I've only been here a short while, but have been made to feel like part of the family. I'm sad to be leaving soon and I'm not sure who I'll miss more; N and S or the pups.

Your home away from home

This is a wonderful home, with even greater home owners. They truly care for their tenants. This home is flooded with natural light, a beautiful garden that surrounds the home with roses, fruits and most importantly its fully equipped with a chef's kitchen (chef included). N would host dinner parties for her tenants and she truly is a remarkable cook. Perks included are laundry service, housekeeping, and the occassional dinner from the host.The rooms are cozy with plenty of storage. You will also have your own entrance. If you don't have a car, this location is accessible by foot and its convenient with close proximity to local hospitals and the downtown area. The icing on the cake is after having a long shift, you'll have 2 small adorable fur babies ready and waiting for your arrival. I enjoyed my stay here and would've definitely have stayed if my assignment didn't change to a different area.

Lovely Home

This is a great home. It includes everything you need including a kitchen with high quality cooking items. The rent includes cleaning and laundry service. The yard is beautiful and the location is quiet yet still close to major highways. The room is private and has plenty of storage. Above all that, the homeowners are friendly and welcoming. On more than one occasion they cooked a great meal and invited us renters to join them. The only reason I moved is because it was too far from my new job. Or I would have stayed! I loved renting there.

Your Home Away from Home

I stayed for six months with N and S while working as a travel nurse at Stanford Healthcare. I had the absolute best stay! They were very welcoming and made me feel at home. I stayed in the blue room. The room was spacious, had an amazing bathroom with soaking tub, and I had my own private entrance. N has done so much work on the garden around her house and it is absolutely beautiful! The house is like an oasis. You can go relax and read under the awning behind the house. I did yoga outside many times. There is a gym less than a mile down the road. I was also greeted by their fur babies everyday I came home! I was so thankful to have found this place. I spent hours throughout my stay talking with N and S. They always made me feel welcomed and even made some home cooked meals for me! They are such a blessing to have in your life when youre away from your loved ones for months on end. I couldnt have asked for a better place to live.

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful home and wonderful people! They have everything you need, including a parking spot, cleaning people bi weekly, in room mini fridge and microwave, and family energy. It was always clean and i got my privacy. Both doors to your room have key pads on them. My bathroom was huge and spacious with lots of storage. It was cozy and I always felt welcome

Life at my aunts house

I dont even know where to begin about this property. N & S are the absolute sweetest. Coming for across the country they make you feel warm and welcomed. They understand that not everyone may want to socialize at times after a shift so they have private entrances into each room as well as a main entrance. They are both up to talk any time you need. They truly care about the well being of their tenants. I could not have imagined a better place to live while I was at Stanford.

Awesome place to rent

I stayed at this property while going to grad school. It was a wonderful homelike environment. The landlady N is one of the nicest person. So his her sister S who also lives at the same property. There were both like aunts to me and are friends till today. I highly recommend this rental. You won't regret it. S J

Charming and clean, lovely host

It was a pleasure staying here with N and S. They are attentive to every detail, friendly, and hospitable. it is a peaceful, secluded, and pretty garden environment right outside the room, and room has its own entrance, allowing for lots of privacy. I also loved the large bathroom.

Great place for a short-term stay

If youre looking for a home away from home, this is a great place to consider - its safe, clean, and very welcoming. The two landlords treat you like family - even after you move out! You have your own luxury bathroom and lovely gardens to also enjoy - would highly recommend!

At this property, your every need is met. The rooms are clean, welcoming, and private. Should you require kitchen space, a parking spot, or even someone to talk to, it's all available upon request. If you have any questions, N and S are ready with answers. If you like flowers, fountains, or produce all you have to do is walk outside your door and you are greeted by an amazing garden. If community is more your thing, downtown Redwood city is a 15 min walk away. Or, should you choose to explore the natural areas of the peninsula, multiple parks and preserves are within a 25 min driving radius. But if none of this is temping and you just want to stay home, each room has its own television and Roku so you can stream at your leisure

Home away from Home

This property truly feels like a comfy Aunt's home. The owners are funny, kind and easy to get along with. It's an easy drive to Stanford with a multitude of shopping choices and restaurants nearby. If you're a dog lover, enjoy beautiful plants and flowers and amazing food this IS the place to stay !

Loved!

I was lucky to find this place for my first travel nurse assignment! It was exactly what I needed. There is nice back patio for reading and lots of beautiful plants around. Although I used the front entrance often, I really liked have my own separate entrance. Bed was super comfortable! I wish I could have taken it with me. If there ever was an issue or concern I had, the landlord was very quick to respond and take care of it. Close access to a gym (also currently offering an outdoor section for working out). The included housekeeping was such a nice bonus! Good people, good dogs. I really enjoyed my stayed here.
