Nice apartment and wonderful hosts

Me and my son stayed at D & S apartment for 3 months. Its a beautiful studio in a very nice neighborhood in Upper Rockridge. If you are nature lover, its an easy 5-10mins drive to Reinhard redwoods park, Joaquin Miller Park and Temescal lake, which are great for hiking/running ! There are many good restaurants on College Ave and Telegraph ave, close to the apartment. The apartment itself is very cleanly maintained and has all the appliances required for a comfortable stay - microwave, stove, refrigerator, pots and pans, vacuum cleaner etc. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment also has a nice gas-based fireplace, which is great for winter months. D & S are awesome hosts - they are very kind, helpful and communicate well. They went above and beyond to accommodate many of our requests. Not to mention the awesome baked stuff that they sent to us on numerous occasions. Free parking was provided. Overall the studio is a great value for money and a comfortable place to stay !

Wonderful space, wonderful hosts, wonderful neighborhood!

It's such a gorgeous neighborhood with wonderful walks and spectacular views of the whole bay! The hosts are very thoughtful and accommodating. The space is a great size. The instant hot water in the kitchenette (which is well appointed) was a nice plus! I would happily stay here anytime.

Clean, Quiet & Serene Stay in Oakland

D & S were the best hosts that my husband and I could ever ask for our 6 month stay. The home itself is located in a quiet, safe part of Oakland great for jogging, walking your pets, or just catching some sun. They welcomed our sweet little yorkie and were so inviting, quick to answer questions, and even shared their baked goodies and invited us up to dinner several times. When I say D & S are THE BEST HOSTS, I mean it ( ..& I'm a hard critic)! The apartment was super clean, quiet and had all the appliances that we needed for a comfy stay (coffee pot, electric kettle, portable induction stovetop, microwave oven, pots, pans, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, heater, BEAUTIFUL electric fireplace, magnetic knife rack, spices, vacuum, broom, mop, iron/ironing board, fridge and freezer). The bed was plush and nicely layered which made for a great day sleep for a night shifter. There's a shared washer/dryer and beautiful garden w/ a fountain in which I enjoyed for reading. Thx D & S!

Lovely Stay In Oakland!!

I have enjoyed renting this Studio (I wish I couldve stayed longer)!! D & S are the GREATEST hosts and they ensure that you will be comfortable during your stay. Though they live above, you will barely hear them during your stay. Both are easy to talk to and they give you your space to be left alone, if you arent the sociable type. Close location to the highway, grocery shopping and restaurants. This Studio is located in a quiet and very serene area of Oakland. This studio has the necessities you will need to cook, bake and meal prep. Sam makes the BEST baguettes and has been so kind in his offerings! (Super delish with preserves!!) The studio is big enough for about 2 people and still feels spacious and comfy. I would highly suggest staying here, if youre in the area. I hope my travels will bring me back to Oakland so that I can stay here again (:
