Wonderful friendly flat

It's hard to add anything new to what's already been noted. I moved here from overseas with my dog amid a challenging time and this flat made for a much-needed soft landing, with the owners being kind, welcoming and helpful, while also respecting my privacy. The apartment is clean and quiet (I never hear a peep from downstairs), though traffic on Poplar Street can be noisy during rush hour. The neighbourhood is safe and even includes a few wild turkeys. Major pluses are the in-unit laundry, excellent water pressure in the shower (something I never take for granted after living in the UK for over 20 years!) and plenty of parking. The ceiling fans make warm days more tolerable, in addition to the A/C units. (I do wish the back bedroom had a ceiling fan too.) The owner's whimsical garden, overflowing with trees, shrubs and flowers, is utterly delightful. And the walk into Roslindale Square is convenient for light shopping or the Saturday farmers market. This apartment was a great find.

Perfectly Convenient and Cozy

I stayed here for about six months over the summer and had a great experience! The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need for cooking, with a beautiful gas stove and plenty of pots and pans. The location is fantastic as its close to the commuter rail for convenient access to the Longwood area for work. Despite being close to the city, the neighborhood has more of a suburban feel and is very safe. The owners who live downstairs are incredibly friendly and are very available to help with any concerns, as theyre frequently outside working on things around the house. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment is such a lifesaver! It makes laundry days a breeze. And there are plenty of TVs around the apartment, making it easy for everyone to unwind with their favorite shows after a long day. This apartment has everything you need for comfortable living, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Home Away From Home

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during the summer! We brought our dog and had no issues whatsoever, the apartment is spacious and the neighborhood is great to walk around. The family on the first floor was extremely welcoming and very friendly, they made our stay very comfortable and made us feel right at home. There are plenty of options for groceries and pharmacies within a few minutes drive and the Orange Line is also only 6-7 min away. The area is very quiet and free parking was provided on the street directly in front. Overall a great experience and we would highly recommend staying here!

Great apartment near hospitals

This apartment was perfect for me, my husband, and our dog. It was a quick and easy 15 min drive to Brigham and womens or any of the hospitals in the longwood area. The hosts living downstairs were incredible accommodating, friendly and make you feel at home. The apartment itself is cozy, homey, and has everything that you need. We loved that there were hiking/walking trails not too far away since we have a dog that doesn't like the car. The town of roslindale is cute and there are good restaurants very close by that you can walk too. The apartment has the perfect office space for my husband who works from home. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back.

Charming Apartment

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at this second floor Roslindale apartment. It is cozy yet feels spacious with a very nice layout. The homeowners live downstairs and are very warm and welcoming. They are very responsive as well. The things we most enjoyed about the apartment-comfortable, safe, view of the sunrises, nice layout, separate office space with desks, walking distance to hip Rozzie Square, easy parking and nice owners. Least favorite things-disposal switch is difficult to reach, back bedroom is a tad dark ( not much natural light) and new pans/casserole dishes needed. Having listed the least favorite things, I would still highly recommend this home for your rental. We enjoyed our 5 month stay very much and felt thankful to be in such a nice space.

Hidden Gem in Boston Area

This apartment was everything that my little family needed. Super comfortable and clean living space with an updated kitchen and laundry. The apartment is spacious-- includes a living room, dining room, and an office. The office was perfect for my gamer/WFH husband. The family on the first floor own the property and are so sweet and accommodating. They are very quick to respond if we ever needed anything. I was able to bring my little pup and they were kind enough to put out a portable trash bin exclusively for pet waste. Parking was conveniently right in front of the property on the street, no need for permits, etc. The neighborhood is lovely and quaint but also in walking distance to Downtown Roslindale where there are plenty of yummy foods and small family owned businesses. It's a quick drive to the Longwood Medical Area and is also close to Forest Hills MBTA station. The closest T stop is a 5 minute walk which takes you to Forest Hills Station. HIGHLY recommend this place!!

Amazing Place

I loved staying here. The apartment is very spacious. I travelled to Boston for work as a travel nurse with my family of 3 and we had ample space. The property manager is easy to contact and very responsive. It is very safe neighborhood and very walkable. There are tons of things to do in the immediate and surrounding areas. All appliance are in excellent condition and full size. It is an upstairs apartment in a duplex but it is very private. I absolutely loved my time in Boston at my home away from home and I will 100% stay here again. There was even a handwritten welcome note with suggestions of places to try in the area. Loved the space and the hospitality!!!

Lovely!

Stunning! The apartment is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The property manager, E, is easy to reach and very quick to respond to any requests. The property is the second floor of a lovely home in Roslindale, MA. It is a 17 minute commute, by car, to BIDMC in Boston. Quaint neighborhood, with in walking distance to the Main St downtown - restaurants and shops- and the Arnold Arboretum. The downstairs neighbors are quiet and quite delightful. They enjoy working in the garden and tinkering in the yard and it shows! A truly fully stocked kitchen with SS appliances, a gas stove full size frig, full size washer and dryer IN THE APARTMENT!! There is a balcony off the second story that faces East. They have a cafe style table and chairs on the balcony-great place to enjoy morning coffee and a good book, or to watch the sun rise. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the apartment and my stay here. I would absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend it.
