Great beautifully landscaped vintage Victorian home

Great apartment and landlord is amazing. He will quickly respond to any questions and inquiries. Was there for nursing assignment at Nebraska Med. Very close and convenient. Neighborhood very family friendly and quiet. Apt. was probably better than other Air N B for that price DEFINITELY. will be back when I travel that way again

Little Victorian

I've been very pleased with my unit. Been here since July. I will be leaving at the end of January. There is private off street parking. It's a fairly quiet neighborhood. I'm a night shifter so that's a must. There is a private balcony with a gas grill.....love. A little fireplace and a clawfoot tub. It is an old house so expect old house things like a creaky floor or a spider web. Mr miller has always been more than aaccommodating. I absolutely would stay here again.

Beware

Just know that the apartment is infested with all kinds of bugs... roaches, bats, rats, etc. So if you are into those kinds of bugs, this place is the perfect place for you. The landlord was informed of the pests and a couple rat traps were given to be placed around the apartment, along with an offer to lend his friend's cat to take care of the problem. The problem was never solved. Also, be aware that you may not get your full deposit back even though you leave the apartment just as you got it and within the terms of the agreement. Those were the most egregious events during the stay there.

Awesome location

A beautifully restored 1880s mansion. House is location blocks away from 2 hospitals, and an historic district of Omaha. Only 10 minutes to the airport! P, the landlord and caretaker provide everything you will need, furniture, dishes, towels, etc. P is a great guy, hed give the shut-off his back, he has taken me to the airport several times, and picked up my wife at the airport when I couldn't. He even surprised me with kittens that needed a home when a lost my cat that I traveled with. Great guy! Great place! Great value! Great location!

Cozy Space

Great price for the space. Everything you could need to feel at home away from home. Grateful to be able to have my fur-babies able to stay with me!! Would stay again if able next time I am traveling in the area! Owner is a very polite gentleman and easy to work with.

Home away from home

Ive done travel nursing for 2+ years and this was by far my favorite place. Such a cozy and beautiful home, love the neighborhood, and great owner. I stayed here with my son and the owner was always so kind and considerate, became a really good friend of ours. I had family and friends come and visit several times, and it was never an issue. The owner always offered extra sleeping arrangements for them also. If youre looking for a place to call home where you can settle in, relax, and really feel at ease, this is the place! We loved hanging on the front porch on rainy days and back patio on summer evenings. Such a gem. Wont beat the price either.

AVOID if you want to end up getting screwed over

Stayed at a property across the street for 2 weeks while waiting for a different property of Miller to be available. Accommodated for another tenant and switched, so I moved into the white house. My first bit of my stay was fine, everything is semi-broken really. Dishwasher didn't work, broken tiles, etc. all good, can live with that. Later on, had MULTIPLE bats in the house and mice. Landlord took care of it each time, but multiple times, cmon. After I left, I couldn't fill my car with everything so I notified him that I had to leave a few things. The trash cans were all filled up already from HIS STUFF, so I neatly left my stuff in the corner by the door. The landlord said that was okay, then took weeks until I texted him about the final walkthrough/deposit. Stated he has to spend 8 hours" cleaning, the place was ALREADY MESSY when I got there, and I cleaned a lot. Read and did not reply multiple times. Refused to prorate my last months rent after he agreed. BYE!!!!

If you have respiratory problems...

If you have respiratory problems, I would NOT recommend renting a place by this landlord. I had a terrible experience after I moved in on my first night. I started having trouble breathing. I was awaken every hour because I was coughing so hard. At one point I went and rested in my car to see if that would help. It did allow me to relax a little bit. I went to urgent care once they opened. I tested negative for covid and determined I was having an asthma exacerbation. I informed the landlord about my difficulties. I asked if there was any other animals that may have stayed at this residence. He said no and that it was allergies and I should take extra allergy pills. Dogs don't interfere with my asthma, however, other animals do. I notified the landlord I could NOT continue to stay at his rental. I asked him if we could work out some kind of deal where I could get some of my money back. He was delayed in responding. Once he did reply, he said he could NOT discuss my situation because he was dealing with another matter. I didn't hear from until after I moved out. He informed me he doesn't give refunds. He also took a $150 cleaning fee from my deposit in addition to keeping the month's rent I had paid him. It took him 3 weeks to return my partial deposit. I hope this helps others who may have respiratory problems like I do. I recommend finding alternate housing. Thank you and good luck

Close to everything

P is a very nice man and his units are as described. Safe neighborhood with off street parking. I stayed in 2 units of his at this residence and overnight in another. He worked with me when I decided to extend in the area on late notice and allowed me to stay in another residence of his close to the zoo for a night while he was in between tenants. I spent a total of 6 months here and never had an issue inside or outside coming/going for call.

Vintage Charm

My stay was during a terrible cold spell in Omaha but the house was warm and charming. All the rooms in the home have original architecture and vintage charm. My stay was very peasant. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Charming & Cozy

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful home. It was very comfortable and clean. The location was in a nice neighborhood and close to many amenities. I basically had the house to myself and when I did see the owner, he was very pleasant and helpful.
