Simply Wonderful!
I had the pleasure of staying with Mike and Laura for several months and it was wonderful! The kitchen has everything you need, the views were serene by the water, their fur baby was THE best, the bed was the coziest I've ever slept on, and most importantly it was quiet/private after a day of work. Laura and Mike were very accommodating and kind during my entire stay. Definitely recommend!!

A Gem on the Water
I cant enough words to state the beauty of the property and kindness of the hosts. The home is beautifully decorated. The room and bathroom are roomy, comfortable and private! They have the best dog ever Benji he will steal your heart! If you want/ need quite, privacy, wonderful hosts (off street parking) and a beautiful view of the water (amazing sunrises on the patio) then this a place to consider! You will very please with this as your place to stay!

Quiet, beautiful, convenient
This property is a diamond in the rough for sure. The hosts were deeply friendly and accommodating; I could not have asked for nicer people to rent from. The room is spacious and quiet - and location cannot be beat; on the water plenty of space for relaxation and contemplation. Close to the Mid-town Tunnel into Norfolk, easy access to the Downtowns of Portsmouth and Norfolk, plus the cultural locations in Ghent. I stayed for nearly two months as my family transitioned to the Tidewater region - I was ridiculously lucky to have found this property.

Travel Nurse 3mo Stay
M and L are wonderful hosts. You have a lot of privacy but also feel like this property is your home away from home. The view is amazing every morning and every evening on your way to and from work. Its a very private, very quiet property. There are lots of appliances to share in the kitchen, washer/dryer access, your own keypad entry, your own private bathroom, and even the pup Benji to welcome you home everyday. Plenty of space to store your clothes/belongings in closet/drawers when on travel assignments. Portsmouth is great access to the Norfolk hospitals, beware of toll charges and get an EZ Pass (google it) when you come to any area around Norfolk/Portsmouth/Chesapeake. This property is 30min from Virginia Beach, 10min from Ghent and DT Norfolk. I loved it and would stay there again and again!
