Perfect for the 2 of us
T and A - we absolutely loved it here. We are both travel nurses and worked at Tacoma General. It is a 3 minute walk from this cottage. It could not have been more ideal. We work night shift, so being able to be in bed minutes after giving report in the mornings was amazing. It is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, bars, gyms, fitness classes, etc. the AC unit upstairs kept the place cool in the summer, and the heat worked great in the cold months. It is an adorable place and very unique. We used the second bedroom as another huge closet / storage space. We also were allowed to keep moving boxes/coolers/extra items in their garage. We did receive mail in the letterbox but for Amazon packages we used an Amazon locker nearby. The owners were so kind and helpful to us always and we fell in love with their dog! They are great people and I highly recommend renting from them. This is the perfect place to stay in Tacoma.
Cozy Spot
Stylishly decorated bungalow. Very nice for walking to TGH or driving to Allenmore Hospital. Several nice shops within walking or short drive distance. We mainly stayed to the west side of Division Ave. Owners were nice, responsive if needed. I enjoyed getting some sun in the backyard and eating lunch in the pergola/patio area. We were able to store our bikes in the locked garage. Washer hooks up to the sink, but you can still use the sink because of a side sprayer. Dryer is in the locked garage, just outside the kitchen door. We were able to fit a sedan and a crossover in the parallel parking off the alleyway. There is a letterbox for mail, but packages were kinda tricky. We had to pick up a package at the USPS once. There are Amazon lockers nearby as well. An oscillating fan kept the upstairs from being too toasty in the summer afternoons (we were trying to sleep as we worked nights). The heaters kept us nice and toasty. We would stay here again!
