Canceled Travel Contract

Unfortunately, I won't be staying here do to a canceled travel contract. I had to sign a lease by February 19, 2026 in order to secure the unit. I signed on February 18, 2026. My contract was canceled at 5pm on February 20, 2026. I didn't get the news until February 23rd. I had to pay a deposit, cleaning fee and first months rent. Although, I received my deposit and cleaning fee, I'm still out of $1,196 that I can't afford to lose. If no one else rent the place that will be a hard loss for me. I'm sharing this because I usually don't secure housing where leases are involved because you never know if a contract will get canceled. And I have always paod on arrival, not in advance. This hasn't happened to me before a start of an assignment. I want to share this for others so you can consider your options and take extra time. The owner did let me know if someone rent the unit I will get my payment returned. However, not sure if that will happen. If it does it will be a miracle.

Great Spot to Stay

I travel a lot for work and this is one of the nicer places I have stayed. Very clean, updated, and the owners are very responsive to questions about the place. Troy was a great help in making sure I had everything I needed to feel at home, and the place is pretty close to downtown Chattanooga. Would stay again!

Cozy and close to downtown!

I stayed here almost all of last summer and was so happy with the space and my easy commute downtown! So nice to avoid the highway and only spend 10-15 minutes getting to work. The space is very nice and cozy, and the bathroom recently renovated with lots of storage. Very nice too to have an entire laundry room with a full size washer and dryer set. Owners could not be any nicer and welcoming!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a short time rental in Chattanooga. To start, the location is awesome and a good central location to all different areas in the city. I am from Florida so moving up to Chattanooga alone for a 3 month OT clinical, was quite daunting, but I felt so safe and welcomed by the landlords, Troy and Shannon. They are the kindset people and really made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my experience. They allowed as much privacy as you needed. If I ever needed anything, they were there right away to help. The space was perfect for me as it has everything you need. A driveway for the renter, a private entrance, living space, bedroom area, and perfect sisze kitchen for a short term stay. I really could not have asked for a better set up and situation while I was up there for 3 months. Very fortunate I found this place, and connected with Troy and Shannon for those 3 months.

Fabulous place to stay as a health care worker/student

My experience at Troy's home was absolutely fabulous. I was in Chattanooga for 3 months earlier this spring for my OT fieldwork placement. I was located 4 minutes from my fieldwork site (Encompass Health) and was often able to drive home during lunch. Troy is great to work with and always encouraging each time I spoke with him. The Furnished finder has a private entrance, but Troy and his family are just upstairs if you were to need anything. The apartment is extremely cozy and welcoming, with all needed appliances and the location is just minutes from downtown the grocery store. I highly recommend this location if you are a student or health care worker needing a place to stay for a short time in Chattanooga, TN.

The perfect place to stay during a clinical rotation

I stayed at Troys place in Chattanooga for three months during a physical therapy clinical rotation and it was the perfect fit for a traveling healthcare professional. The unit is clean, fully furnished, and completely separate from the main home aboveoffering plenty of privacy. It had everything I needed for a longer stay, including an in-unit washer and dryer, which was incredibly convenient. Troy was a fantastic hostvery responsive and respectful. The location is ideal: just minutes from downtown Chattanooga, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and groceries, yet tucked in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Even with ongoing highway construction, getting to my clinic site was simple and stress-free. I highly recommend this property to any travel nurse, PT, or medical professional looking for a comfortable, private, and well-located stay in Chattanooga.

Quiet, clean and cozy

This property is exactly as advertised. It has all the amenities you need and I found the kitchenette was perfect for one person. The space is well laid out and has easy access. There is plenty of shopping close by and its close to the interstates. I worked downtown and had a 15 minute commute which was nice. Troy is an excellent communicative landlord and I appreciated all the fine details that went into this rental. Highly recommend this property or any others.
