I stayed in this one-bedroom apartment in Harlem for four months, and my experience was genuinely excellent. The space itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a longer-term stay. The neighborhood was vibrant and convenient, with easy access to transit, grocery stores, and great local spots. What really made the difference, though, was the landlord. They were incredibly responsive, communicative, and proactive throughout my stay. Any questions or minor issues were addressed quickly and professionally, which made living there stress-free and enjoyable. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant place to stay in Harlem, especially for an extended period.
My wife and I spent three months living at Kashs place in NYC from January to the beginning of April 2025. It is a great apartment. So convenient to get around with both subway and bus routes within a couple blocks or less. We spent a lot of time touring around the city and found it so easy to get anywhere we wanted to go in Manhattan. We felt very safe in this part of the city, even at night. There was an occasional firetruck that would go down the street but it was not often and totally understandable and expected. It never interrupted our sleep. Speaking of sleep, the bed was incredibly comfortable and I have been missing it a lot! The apartment is a perfect size for two people and well laid out. Our kids even came to visit with their spouses on a couple of weekends and used the blowup mattress! It was great having a dishwasher and an in-unit wash/dry machine for laundry. It takes a bit of time to dry, but we easily managed to figure it out and make it work for us. The space was well appointed and had everything we needed. The building itself was very quiet and you couldnt hear any of the neighbours. With only two apartments per floor, it was perfect. And the elevator and stairs opened up right in front of our door which made it real easy when bring up groceries. Kash was very helpful whenever we had questions and responded quickly to our inquires. He gave us some good recommendations for restaurants in the area. There are a few grocery stores nearby and several restaurants the we could order from or visit. All in all, Id highly recommend this place if you are looking for accommodations in the Manhattan/Harlem area. Kash is great and the apartment is perfect! Enjoy!
Beautiful, spacious apt
Great apartment, great location, great host. Highly recommend.
Perfect NYC experience
This apartment was exactly as pictured. Beautiful windows, huge layout, tasteful decor. Upon arrival, the apartment was not as cleaned as we had thought it should be, so we sent photos to the landlord. He immediately apologized and looked for ways to resolve it. This apt. is on the same street as the fire station, but you can't expect to live in any area of Manhattan & not hear sirens or horns honking. It's just the background noise of the city. It didn't bother us as the bed was very comfortable, & the room had good window shades and a great closet. Kash was nothing but kind, responsive, and gave us FABULOUS local recommendations which were totally as great as he claimed them to be. Every neighbor we met was nice, and there was a good size local grocery store only a few blocks away. Central Park was a 10 minute walk, and lots of easy access to subways and buses. We were also about a 15 minute walk to Target, Costco, and the east side riverwalk. We received back our deposit
DO NOT LIVE HERE
You will get absolutely no sleep (which is very important to me as a NOC nurse). Literally on the same street is a fire department station who blares their horn every 5 seconds. The curtains do a horrible job at keeping light out. The bed mattress is stiff as a rock. You will get trapped in the bathroom as the door is 9/10 times impossible to open. The W/D takes 4 hours to dry clothes and also makes you feel like an earthquake is happening with how obnoxiously loud and how much it shakes back and forth. Elevator is broken half the time so unless you like taking 4 flights of stairs..Couch has nails sticking out that has caused injury. And lastly Landlord will SCAM you of your deposit. I guess he wanted the place to look BETTER than when I arrived and charged me extra, after admitting his cleaning company didn't do their job, not us. And also didn't return deposit without explaining or receipt of what cost $600. SCAM. Don't live here, surrounding area is also not safe (East Harlem).
