Nice home

Very nice clean home. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in her nice backyard with the cat who stays downstairs. Margaret did have a nice extra fridge for us, but I would not plan on cooking extensively at all. She provides a cupboard space and use of her dishes/pots, but the counter tops are too cluttered to do much. Also note-her stove does not have any lights that tell you whether the burners are on or off. She is home a lot, but the living spaces are separate levels. I would get clarification on whether you have use of the whole upstairs or just a room. We were told she wasn't going to rent the other rooms upstairs with us there but she didn't like that we assumed it was okay to sleep in separate beds due to my husband's legs being too long for the room we chose and the bed I preferred. I get that it meant she had to change out two beds so I offered to do them myself. I would just talk to her on the phone first (we didn't do that) and make sure you all are a good fit.

Clean, Central, Private

Margaret is a great host. Private quarters were clean and well kept with scheduled cleaning. The restroom was exceptionally clean and spacious. I worked in New Hanover for the duration of my stay and the best thing about the rented space was it's close proximity to the hospital. The commute was about 10 minutes with lots of restaurants and a few grocery stores between the hospital and the rented space. I would highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay if I'm ever working in the Area.

Beautiful home with all need amenities included!

M's place is wonderful with all the needed amenities included. I stayed for four months and had no complaints. The hospital is a 5 minute drive away with nearby grocery, restaurants, movie theater & park trail. Beach access is 15-30 min away. M is flexible with your schedule as mine changed month by month. You have ample parking space in the driveway. You have access to the living room with satellite TV & beautiful backyard/deck. Laundry unit is new and great to use. M provides ample kitchen storage (pantry, fridge, freezer and cabinet). M provides all needed kitchen utensils and cookware (also a coffee pot & tea kettle!). You have a private, full bath upstairs next to whichever room you choose. The beds are very comfortable and your heating/AC upstairs is controlled separately. Overall, it is a wonderful place to rent and you even have Charlotte (the cat who is trained to not go upstairs) to greet you each day. I would highly recommend her place.
