Quiet and cozy

I stayed here for travel assignment from March through July. The drive to the hospital was about 20-25 minutes. The place is clean and well equipped. It was comfortable for one person. Virgil was very accommodating and was a great host. I would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing place!

Very clean and amazing place! Virgil was more than helpful and quick to answer with any questions I had during my stay. Very safe area, never had an issue. 20 minutes to Hazard ARH. I plan on returning for work and will definitely be messaging Virgil to see if he has availability!

Travel Nurse

I stayed in the upstairs apartment for 4 months. This is a great place to stay, Virgil and his wife are great people. The place is very clean and well setup for one person. During the warmer season the deck is wonderful place to sit and relax. The drive to ARH Hazard is beautiful from here. If you are an outdoors type person this is the place to be. I am also currently in school for my masters, and Virgil made sure weekly that the internet was top notch for me. I never had any internet issues. Thank you Virgil. The stay was wonderful.

Great Host and Place to stay

If you're looking for a great host and a quiet comfy stay this is your place. V went out of his way at every turn to help me out and to make sure I had everything I needed. It is a small little place but perfect for a traveler like me who works nights. 10 out of 10 recommend.

THE BEST

Greatest little apartment!! Very, very clean with all the updates. Full size appliances and kitchen. Very large bathroom with washer and dryer. Internet and streaming available. Had trouble with my air and heat one time and V had it take care of immediately. He is a great landlord and very accommodating. I travel with my chihuahua and there was plenty of space for walking him. This apartment is out toward the country so it is very quiet which was great for sleeping or just peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend this apartment and/or V as your landlord. If I return to Hazard I will look him up again!! Thanks V for a great stay in Hazard!!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY! SPACIOUS AND AFFORDABLE!

I stayed here for 3 months on a travel assignment. In the pictures, it does show the top unit but the bottom unit is what I stayed in. I highly enjoyed my stay. The owners are super kind and respectful. If you need anything, they are so helpful and accommodating. They even made me some cookies while I was there! The unit itself doesn't get great circulation with the A\C so make use of the fan during warmer temperatures. I did have some problems with the freezer and washer and dryer during my stay but the owners are completely aware of the issues and I'm sure it will be fixed before the next person arrives. One problem I did have that I didn't expect were the drain gnats. I did have to pour bleach down the drains with hot water running to keep them from coming back. All these issues I'm mentioning are fixable and should not deter you from renting this unit. Overall, I definitely enjoyed my stay and the price is definitely on the affordable side compared to other places in the area.

Wonderful place to stay!

My husband and I are travel nurses and stayed here through 3 contracts at Hazard ARH. We traveled with our little dog and have absolutely zero complaints and highly recommend this property to everyone! V is very responsive if you need anything at all and he has the place clean and ready to go. Its well furnished and had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. Its a quiet area and within a 25 minute drive of everything you may need. It really became a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again if we take another contract in the area!
