Quiet and Cozy

I stayed here while on a travel contract with YRMC. It was a comfortable and safe experience. Maria was kind and attentive. Location is in a quiet residential area but just minutes to restaurants and shopping. Accommodations were as advertised plus access to a private back porch. Highly recommend.

Unfair Person and Rude

She has collected $500 deposit a month before and cancel her own contract 3 days before I move in! She was disrespectful, call my hospital that I work and was rude to my employee!

Amir,,, Unfortunately there were long delays in you completing the application, rental agreement and me receiving the hold deposit. I remained patient however. And the move in date was set for the 18th. The property was professionally cleaned and ready even when you suddenly moved the move in date up. On the early move in date you finally chose you did not call, text or show up. There was no payment of rent on that move in date at the time specified by you. Not hearing from you at all I did call you and text and got no response,,, then I called your job, and left an urgent message with your coworker. For some reason on that morning. your car was illegally parked in my driveway though rent had NOT been paid or contact made with me. I returned your personal belongings to you, including your tv that I had allowed you to store with me two weeks ahead of your move in. Your one time hold deposit was then returned to you as well. In all the time I waited for you to follow through with your paperwork and deposit, I was unable to rent to other tenants who wanted the place. I lost over a months rental income but still returned your $500 deposit in full. During my wait I researched and found that in fact you are not married to the woman who you said was your wife and would be staying with you on and off. So you see, I lost income by being patient with you, despite your disrespect in never contacting me on the earlier move in date that you chose. Though you parked your car in my driveway you failed to speak to me, leave me a message, or anything but said after the fact that you had to work that day. The day you said you would be moving in and paying your first months rent. I did not report your illegally parked car to the police. I again was patient and waited for contact from you. I would call all of this a comedy of errors but in truth it was not miscommunication but your disrespect of me and my property. As you can see from other reviews, no other tenants had a problem with me or their stay here. I wish you the best moving forward. And look Forward to having another happy, respectful tenant in the lovely studio that you missed out on.

Cozy studio

I stayed here for my travel job for 3 months! It was really peaceful and I had goodnight sleep. Maria the owner was always nice, helpful and responsive for any of my concern. I have my own entrance and privacy too. Its a nice place and homey feels. Everything is accessible nearby! Good coffee shops, groceries and fitness too. I really recommended it.

Peaceful, quiet and comfortable

I stayed at Maria's while working a travel contract that required commuting to both East and West campuses! And first of all, the location is ideal for that. You're in a quiet residential area, but the access into town is right out the door. I really enjoyed living here for the three months I was in the area. I found it to be very serene and peaceful after long shifts. The deck was one of my favorite parts. I never felt uncomfortable here and would stay again! Maria is kind and always available via text.

Lovely stay

Had an amazing stay with Maria! Her house has beautiful views, clean and spacious with all new appliances. Located in a quiet neighborhood 10 minutes away from Prescott downtown. Close to everything you could need like Trader Joe's, Costco, Sprouts, etc. If you like nature, there are also breathtaking hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to live in the area. Will definitely be back if I am ever in Prescott again, sad to leave!

A Perfect Stay!

This is the perfect place to stay! The house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, 10-15 mins from anywhere you want to go. M was very caring and made my stay extremely comfortable. I had a separate private entrance and had access to private bathroom, kitchen and back porch. The place was very clean and had all the supplies I needed as a travel medical professional. I also had access to extra storage space in a closet. Newly remodeled! It was really nice spending time with M, she has two well behaved dogs who always love a visit to get pets! M is very easy to be around and to ask questions you might have. It was a perfect home away from home for my three month work contract and I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again if I am ever in Prescott.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful stay at Maria's home. The house is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, a short distance drive to Lynx lake, also close to major places in Prescott and Prescott Valley including major stores, historic downtown. 15 minutes to YRMC West campus, 10 minutes to East campus. I appreciated Maria's prompt communication and excellent host, from warmly welcoming me on the first day to making sure I am comfortable. I had access to a private bathroom (or shared depending on occupancy), kitchen, living room, and a beautiful back porch. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, well decorated. I enjoyed spending time with Maria and her dogs, who are very well behaved, friendly, and absolutely loving. Maria is a humble, generous person who will gladly share her stories with you if invited. This was the perfect home for my month-long stay, wonderful environment to come home to after a long day at the hospital. Highly recommended!
