Big Island oasis

After one month in this beautiful ohana, we were very sad to leave. The property is in impeccable condition: new, clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable. We especially loved the open-concept design, which maximizes the view of the Kona shoreline below, and the spacious lanai, where we ate nearly every meal and watched dramatic sunsets night after night. The higher elevation gave us cool nights for sleeping, and the semi-rural setting gave us birdsong to wake up to, not to mention avocados and bananas right on the property. G is an exceptional landlord, responsive, attentive to detail and kind. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful oasis that is still close to Kona and its amenities.

Cool, clean, comomfortable Ohana

This Ohana was the perfect place for us to stay while working in Kona. The elevation afforded perfect temperatures and good sleeping weather after being in the Kona heat all day. It provides lots of space; has a large kitchen pantry as well as plenty of kitchen cabinets and also has an additional pantry/ storage room next to the entry door. The laundry room is large and separate with its own door. The lanai is a great place to enjoy a meal together, relax & enjoy an afternoon rain without getting wet or a breathtaking sunset over Kona or just to play games around the table. The landlord is caring & attentive and the setting is peaceful.
