Sunlit 2-Bedroom Apartment - Few Mins Away from Major Hospitals

A lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. It is located near most shops, schools, Renown Regional and the VA, making it a good place to stay especially for newcomers and travellers. You have all the amenities, utilities and furniture you need all included in one fair price. You can't get that from any other rental in town. Lots of sunlight come through the windows making the rooms bright during the daytime. You don't have to worry about bringing or buying furniture when you move in - and that helps a lot with your budget too. Glenn has been a pleasure to have as a landlord. He is very approachable and gets things done right away so that we get to have a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place.

Two bedroom duplex near Renown

Two bedroom home located within walking distance of Renown Regional Hospital. Rent was fair and Glen the owner was very easy to work with. Neighbors where quiet and friendly in the adjoining duplex. The location was great, near many restaurants, bars and of course the many casinos that Reno has to offer. We enjoyed our trips to Virginia City, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park. Would recommend property for someone that is looking for a nice, quiet, friendly environment.

Great unit in a wonderful area

We stayed at this unit for over 6months, so we know it intimately. The unit is great, sunlight floor level with lots of room in the basement. We are big into cooking, so the only downside of the unit is its smaller kitchen, we were able to work around it, so it shouldn't be a deal breaker by any means. Location is right in the heart of Reno, many parks, shopping, food, and fun all within walking distance (we did 90% of our grocery runs walking). When you can't walk to where you need to go, there is a freeway entrance close by. The neighbors in the adjoining unit are very kind people, not a bother whatsoever and saved us many times by taking the trashcans to the street while we were still learning the pick up schedule. G, the unit owner, is fantastic to work with. Quickly responds to any question and willing to help wherever he can. If you plan on being in Reno for just a couple weeks or a couple months, I highly suggest this unit.

fixer upper..

I would like to say that G was very accommodating when problems arose so this is in no reflection of him, just the homes condition. When we moved in & went to placed our bedding we found multiple carpet beetles on our mattresses, exterminator was called to confirm this was not bed bugs. There is NO VENTS or AC, this became a major issue as my roommate & i have dogs and there was a point where the inside would get well into the 80's, not pet friendly. the "yard" is gravel with overgrown shrubs. With the fires occurring too we had our windows open through it all even with the air quality advisory warning in effect because it was too hot and suffocating to keep them closed; not great when you have asthma or allergies. G had a swamp cooler installed but again with no vents the air is still very difficult to circulate. kitchen space is next to nothing. 0 counter space to cook with. dryer is broken we have had to fix the start knob multiple times. stairs are super steep easy to fall

Great space for nurses

This property has been exactly what we need while waiting for our home to close. It's walking distance to Renown, has everything we need, and the owner has been fantastic to work with. The pros: It's so convenient that there's a washer and dryer in unit and the bedrooms are always cool and dark. Water pressure/temperature is great. Well-appointed with all the linens, dishes, etc. we need. Even though you share a wall with the other unit, we rarely hear anything. Wifi is great. Had a front yard area for our dog :) beds are firm but comfy and there's a mattress topper if you want to make it softer. Cons: The bathroom is upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs, and the stairs are very steep and narrow. We had no issues but a less mobile person might. No dishwasher (but the sink is huge so it's easy to wash up) and the TV only is useful if you have something to connect to it to watch things on (we used our Xbox) Honestly a great experience overall and would highly recommend.

Great location to main Reno hospital and midtown

Great location if you want to be close to Midtown eateries and night life as well as close to all local hospitals. You can literally walk to Renown Regional which is the biggest hospital/trauma center in the area. The new landlords were accommodating after the original property switched ownership on us.
