Welcomed Solace

Wonderful and welcoming are the only words i could use to descibe my stay. J took wonderful care of me during my stay at her beautiful home, it was well taken care of and she was very accommodating. I was able to get peaceful rest even as a nightshift nurse. She also would check in on me if I needed anything. The garden was so beautiful and the decor delightful. It was a exquisite place to stay during my time in Charlotte.

Great place to stay

From the 1st day I arrived at Jacqueline's home, to the last day I was there, she would grab half of the 6 bags I was always bringing in and take them to my room. Her home is cozy and close to the city of Charlotte, but yet far enough away from the hustle. I went to a concert at the Charlotte Spectrum Center, it was eat in and easy out 15 minutes each way. it's close to Matthew's medical center where I worked. There is a comfortable queen bed in the room, along with excellent storage capacity and a tv. There is a ceiling fan allowing you to control your own climate, and has its own ac unit. The home is kept clean and has many interesting memorabilia and art work to look at. She has a large private backyard with a patio table and chairs. Parking is right in front of house which is on a dead end road with no traffic. I am a seasoned traveler of many years, I highly recommend staying here.

Comfortable, well appointed lodgings with a charming and gracious hostess!

I stayed with J while working in Charlotte, NC. I found everything to be as advertised, and often to be better than advertised. J's home is clean, beautifully appointed, and her garden is magnificent. I felt the price was extremely fair for my needs and for the amenities received. However, Jacki herself is the true treasure. She is gracious, charming, and genuinely cares about her guests. She strikes a perfect balance between entertaining and knowing when to let folks recharge. My first night in, she immediately offered me either a cup of hot tea or a glass of wine, and within 5 minutes, it felt as if I was chatting with an old friend whom I'd not seen in a long time. J was by far my favorite part of my time in Charlotte, and I miss visiting with her in her lovely home. She is an experienced hostess, and truly makes one feel at home. I cannot recommend her or her home enough to those looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful retreat while staying in Charlotte.

Wonderful home and host

J's house is absolutely beautiful, just as the pictures. It has everything I need and there is a beautiful garden where I can relax. J is an amazing host, she went out of her way to make me feel at home. I enjoyed the stay and appreciate my friendship with J.

Beautiful gardens, Lovely home and Wonderful Owner

I arrived late in the evening and was greeted by the owner offering to help carry my things in. Its a lovely home and the gardens are gorgeous! I spent my time off from working outside in the garden. The owner was inviting and offering anything to make me feel at home. J was very considerate and inviting and I enjoyed the time I spent in the home. I would definitely stay again and will stay in contact with the owner. Complete relaxation! Thank you J you are a Gem!

Wellcoming, Cozy home with pretty back garden.

We were welcome in August with a Lovely brunch in the garden. The host is very kind, and goes out of her way to make us feel, comfortable and at home, she even drove my husband and I to the airport. The room is pleasant and accommodating, with a double bed, and a nice TV and a work desk. The garden in the back is beautiful with flower beds and garden art. My husband always felt welcome when visiting. The property is in a very safe and friendly neighborhood, short drive from the main hospitals, restaurants, and shops. this is my second time staying at this property, and I strongly recommend it.

healthcare traveler

I have been staying with Jacki since July, 2022. I have found her to be sincere, compassionate and caring. She takes every opportunity to make sure may stay is quiet and peaceful, always asking if there is anything else she can do to make me feel at home. Her care and concern during a recent auto accident was instrumental in making a bad situation much better. I plan on being with until March or longer if another extension is received from Atrium. I would stay with J again and highly recommend anyone else to do the same.
