Historic View w/Bugs

The unit I rented from the landlords was cute on the pictures & the neighborhood was amazingly beautiful with convenience to my travel assignment for work. I arrived to the unit on June 2, 2022 to a code that didn't work initially and no toliet paper for me to use the bathroom. Luckily I had some tissue in my purse. A cleaning fee of $150 is charged, yet I had food in the fridge from the previous tenant. The sad part is they landlords do not disclose the narrow steps & hot hallway that you have to walk up to get to the upper level units. Also I did not sign up for pest to invade the unit with the heavy rain, for example waterbugs. I had multiple issues with spiders, several waterbugs that entered the unit being the second level of the building. Other tenants in the building also had issues with bugs entering their unit. When I notified the other landlords, I was instructed to grab some pesticides that was at there personal residence to spray my place. This is something that should've been done by them. Also I had a kitchen faucet that didn't work properly for the 1st two months, finally after complaining C finally replaced it. They also make you pay for the entire month even if your work contract ends. I had to buy my own broom just to sweep my place & a duster since I had cob webs throughout the place. I also felt that it was very insensitive & unprofessional for C to tell me that I should be okay with certain spiders in my unit, when I shouldn't have any type of bugs at all. I lost my grandmother last year to meningitis from a bug bite, so my health is taken very serious as a Healthcare Traveler. Also the washer & dryer all in one unit was broke & every tenant in this building has to go all the way to the basement to wash their clothes. This unit is located in a beautiful location, unfortunately the owners need to put the money into matching the price point that they are charging each tenant. I could've stayed in a newly renovated. Glad that I didn't leave with anything.

Cozy Comfort

Complete comfort with phenomenal walkable neighborhood. It was the perfect home away from home. The owners are easily accessible and helpful in area knowledge and with any issues encountered. Will be my first choice in stays if Im in the area again.
