Wine down at Hummingbird

I wish there was an option to give 10 stars coz that's what I would have given from my whole experience when I rented this Apt.I chose to live here given the short distance of abt 1.2 miles from mission hospital where I was working,everything is just or more of what the owner has displayed it,enjoyed most of my free time at the Quiet beautiful porch or the spacious backyard catching up some sunshine.The owner of this property is the kindest lady I have ever met,she went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable, guiding me to the areas of interest around the area. Given that I unfortunately had to leave before my tenure period due to medical reasons she worked with me harmoniously to ensure a smooth transition and this is just a pinch of her amazing personality.If I have to travel to this area again,thus would definitely be where I wanna stay.I highly recommend it.

Perfect Property!

My wife and I stayed at this property with our dog for the entire summer while I was here for work. N was a wonderful hostess and went out of her way to make sure we had our privacy and anything that we needed during the stay. The location is centralized and close to anything that we needed or anywhere we wanted to go. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We loved the back porch and the spacious backyard, especially the fire pit, which is perfect for making smores!

Quiet, Local, Perfection

Were I not a procrastinator, I would have booked this location for my entire 13 week contract at Mission Hospital, which happens to be located 5 minutes from said property mind you. It's also approximately a 5 minute drive to the more desirable destinations in downtown Asheville. The space is absolutely gorgeous, as can be seen via the gallery, however that which cannot be displayed photographically, is the sheer kindness, compassion, and hospitality offered by the hostess. She takes great pride in accommodating and caring for her guests. She's a fascinating individual with a wealth of local insight. Next time I visit Asheville, I will not pick dates based on my schedule, but rather based on the Wine Down at Hummingbird Haven's availability. 100% recommended.

A Retreat Near It All

There aren't enough accolades to describe the space, owner and location at Wine Down. The space is thoughtful, intentional, covers every single base imaginable (kitchen, bathroom, workspace, quality bedding, etc.). Even the toiletries and cleaning supplies are top notch and will give you ideas to take with you on your way. The location is central to everything one would need or want to experience in Asheville. It's close enough to everything yet quiet enough to give you the breathing space needed to unwind from a long day or trek. As for the owner, N is simply the greatest. She's right there and available if needed, thoughtful beyond belief and non-intrusive in ways that you'll appreciate after one of 'those days'. I always knew she was steps away but never felt put upon. She has wonderful ideas and all of our exchanges have left me reminded of how many truly good people there are left in the world. She has experience traveling for work and hosting. Superb All the Way!

Simply lovely

This studio is simply lovely in every way and the owner is amazing. She really just wants to make sure her guests are happy during their stay. I cant wait to stay there again when I do another assignment in Asheville!

Lovely Retreat

N property is a 5 minute drive to Mission Hospital and walking distance to Biltmore Village. The apartment is clean, very comfortable and has everything you need. The unit has its own split AC and heating unit and the bed is extremely comfortable. The back porch and yard are the best part, especially for my dog. N is so kind and helpful and gave me so many great recommendations of what to do during my stay. She was so accommodating and sweet to my dog too! I cant recommend N's property enough!

Great Place to Stay!

I had a wonderful stay with N. Her place is clean, nicely decorated, comfortable & safe. Street is very quiet & location is close to everything around Asheville including Mission Hospital. Check in & check out process was very easy & she was extremely accommodating during my stay. Would definitely stay again in the future and recommend to other travelers!
