Charming cabin everyone wants to live in

Not comfortable

Beware! The tiny home is suspect for mildew, mold, or other bacteria. The odor filled the entire space, and was due to improper cleaning & maintenance of the trailer tiny home. The bathroom has NO ventilation so water pools in the shower and the toilet has issues. When addressed with the owner, she quickly turned everything around on me and blamed me for things that were not true. She was difficult to speak to. She appears understanding and kind as "3rd generation Tahoe resident", but her actions were disrespectful and embarrassing! I had to leave for my safety and it cost me the deposit. I feel I am owed that deposit. There is no privacy. The hot water only lasts 4 minutes so showers were difficult and uncomfortable. The bed wasn't comfortable and the fridge is dorm room size. I would look elsewhere if you need a furnished space for Tahoe. There are so many other options that are healthy and safe!

Couldnt have asked for a more perfect stay!

I was working at Barton as a travel RN and stayed in the tiny house/cabin. The location was perfect and the tiny house was so comfortable. Jody was helpful and easy to contact with any questions I had. I would absolutely stay here again!

Homey cabin style property!

I stayed here with my fiance and dog for contract at Barton.The home is cozy, spacious and cabin-style though with the decor and updates inside, it feels more modern than other cabins in the area. The property has a wood burning sauna in the back and large yard which was great for our dog. Our favorite feature was the well which gave us great tasting water! There is a tiny home on site though the backyard seemed to be just for the use of those staying in the house. The property is located 2-3 minutes driving from Barton Hospital where I worked, which was nice as I got to go home for lunch. The property is close enough to the fun that SLT has to offer but also away from it just enough to which you aren't overwhelmed by the tourists or traffic. Its quite a lovely place and I would consider staying here again. J is incredibly sweet and offered many great recommendations on restaurants and places to grocery shop!

Wonderful Tahoe Oahis

Beautifully updated, quintessential Tahoe cabin nestled in the forest, right in town. Cozy wood stove, new appliances and well-appointed with many nice finishing touches. Highly recommend!

perfect spot in Tahoe

This is a truly special property, which includes the updated, light-filled main cabin, awesome tiny house, and beautiful backyard. I couldnt have imagined a better place to live while working in Tahoe I felt safe, the house was beautifully decorated, and its close to everything yet off the beaten path. J is kind, fair, and communicative Im so grateful to have lived in her home into which she has put so much time and care.
