The coziest retreat

I had the most lovely stay here while on a travel nurse contract! I was so comfortable and cozy at this beautiful home! I absolutely loved the company of sage the cat after a long day at work :) If I find myself taking another contract in KC, I will surely be back to stay here.

Perfect

I loved staying here on my travel contract and wouldn’t have changed a thing. The house is incredibly spacious and tastefully decorated. It has a lot of character and history but has been really well maintained. I love that the main bathroom is so large! Keypad to get into your room insures privacy. The home owner is very respectful and good at communication. I hardly ever knew she was there when we were there at the same time. The home is quiet and peaceful. Tons of personal storage space offered in bathroom, your bedroom, and the kitchen. Just a quick 8 minute drive downtown with a highway onramp easily accessible. Neighborhood is quiet. Also there is a house cat named Sage who was just a wonderful addition. She was very quiet as well and minded her own business, but was open to say hello to you if you wanted to pet her. I loved it here and recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, easy, and clean stay in KC.

I loved staying here for a few months! The 3rd floor bedroom was so cute and my cat loves the space. Kaitlyn was so welcoming and friendly! Definitely recommend!

Cozy Stay

I traveled to Kansas City for a contract at Childrens Mercy. Super easy 8 min drive to work. I had absolutely everything I needed for my stay. The upstairs bedroom has a great desk and workout nook. The light from the windows downstairs made the winter gloominess barely noticeable. Kaitlyn was very responsive and always checking in to see if there was anything she could add or change to make the unit more comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here.

Miss living with Kaitlyn already!

Kaitlyn has created a lovely, welcoming home. It's clean, minimally but thoughtfully decorated and has all the amenities I needed. The house brings in beautiful light from all sides at various times of day. And for me that's very important. Kaitlyn welcomed my two pups (and so did her sweet cat, Sage) with patience, kindness and love. Unfortunately we had to move on early. We thoroughly enjoyed living there and miss it already.

CUTE and COZY

Great property and easy to get to Children's Mercy! Takes about 8 minutes. I was able to have my dogs come visit with my fiance which was so nice being far away from home. You have all the amenities you truly need.

Absolutely stunning home in great location with an INCREDIBLE HOST.

K's home is a charming, expansive, sun-drenched three-floor space in the historic Northeast. It has been completely gut renovated, with modern interiors, appliances (including washer + dryer) and central AC/heat. There's a spacious backyard and front yard with a vegetable and flower garden. It's really everything you would want in a home - whether a temporary or longer-term stay. The location is perfect. I lived here without a car and could access downtown KCMO and many other central areas (River Market) by bike and bus--there are at least three bus lines within 1-2 blocks. I also loved K's - and my - neighbors while I stayed here. It felt like a place I could honestly live in forever. Adding to this, K is a fantastic host. She is extremely generous, going at great lengths to make everything accessible, comfortable, and convenient. Words really can't explain (or give enough thanks for) K's hospitality and friendship. You'd be remiss not to stay here.
