Bad Owners, Bad Property, Bad Stay

Rented the basement and ground floor for the summer, and it was abysmal. 1st night there and the outside hose was leaking into the basement, spraying water everywhere. Tons of ants all throughout the house, including in both showers. The basement flooded 3 separate times and our basement roommate permanently left the property mid-summer. The owners tried to change the leasing agreements after this, charging us extra, even though they agreed to relieve our roommate from the lease, very unprofessional and shifty. The 1st time the basement flooded, the water was turned off and we were forced to take showers at another one of Mardell's properties. That property had outdoor furniture, but that furniture was extremely unsanitary due to the abundance of feral cat piss. The smell was horrible. The 3rd time it flooded, the water that was dripping on our roommates bed was septic water. The house was dirty when we moved in, including kitchen utensils. Mardell is rude, shifty, and unprofessional.
