I enjoyed my stay at The Retreat in Clayton. It is a 5 star location. Very well taken care of. T heater worked well during my stay . I was very toasty even when the temp was 25 outside . It was very important to me since I am from FLorida and not used to cold weather. The washer and dryer was a very good amenity because it was in the unit. Very well decorated with a fireplace but I didnot use it. Happy it had a nice fridge and stove for when I felt like cooking.Had lots of windows for natural light. It had a nice size closet and iron and board for use as well as a full length mirror. The host is very helpful and accommodating. Knows the area well and can provide instructions for routes to work and places to shop and eat. The area is safe and in the historic area of Clayton. Very thorough for everything. Enjoy your stay.

I stayed at The Retreat during my travel nurse assignment. It was the perfect place for a single person with being the right size. The unit was very clean on arrival. Its settled in a very quiet/safe neighborhood. I worked nights and had no problems with noise. Plenty of stores and places to eat in the area. K was very helpful when it came to asking questions about the area. It is fully equipped with all necessary appliances. The owner does a great job of making sure that the space is clean and working efficiently. The outside has motion sensor lighting and cameras to make sure that it is safe. All around this is a great place to stay.

I just recently stayed at The Lofty Guest House and it was an amazing experience. The space is fully equipped with all necessary appliances. The owner does a great job of making sure that the space is clean and working efficiently. Outside of The Lofty Guest House the owner also has motion sensor lighting and cameras to make sure that it is safe. As a single woman staying here I felt very safe. The small town of Clayton is within walking distance. The town is full of shops, restaurants, and even has axe throwing. All around this is a great place to stay.

K was very helpful when it came to asking questions about the area. The unit came equipped with cleaning equipment and stocked kitchen. The only thing is you have to message the owner for access to the laundry and vacuum. Other than that I recommend the unit.
