Highly Recommend!
I stayed at the Colorado Bungalow for 3 months over the summer. Though it was a short stay, I can confidently say that Carina and Jody are the best "landlords" I have ever had. They were fantastic with communication and addressed the very few issues that came up immediately. I was nervous at first at the idea of sharing a yard and outdoor dining space with strangers but they had the perfect balance of friendly without too much lingering. The bungalow is lovely and it is so clear that much thought and intention was put into making it a homey and pleasant place for people to stay. We have family that live in the area and will certainly seek out this place again for any longer stays that we make!
Great place to live!
My partner and I stayed here for 4 months in the winter/spring and loved it! The space is very comfortable, and the open floor concept of the kitchen/living area made it feel very spacious. I was hesitant about not having an oven, but the induction stove and toaster oven worked great, even for two people. The space was stocked with everything we needed, and having a dishwasher was super convenient. The kitchen table was great to work at for extended periods of time as my partner worked from home. The bed and the couch were both very comfortable, the house stayed warm in the winter, and Carina was super friendly and helpful the whole time. The neighborhood felt safe, and everywhere we went in Grand Junction was within a 10 minute drive. We would definitely recommend renting this space to anyone!
Comfortable, friendly, and convenient!
This property was so cozy and close to St. Mary's, it made my stay in GJ great! The unit is bright and sunny, excellent heater and smart tv with lots of options. The fenced backyard was great for my dog, and washer/dryer on site was awesome! Quiet neighborhood to walk my dog and I felt very safe with regard to parking my vehicle. The property owners were really friendly, and helpful with any questions I had on the area. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and that I felt very welcomed! I would 100% stay at the Bungalow again and recommend.
Comfortable & Convenient
My spouse and I stayed in the bungalow with our dog for 3 months last summer while I worked at St. Mary's Hospital. It was perfect for us and had everything we needed. C and her partner are easy to communicate with and so helpful. They had great recommendations for anything and everything in the Western Slope. Not having an oven was easily overcome by using the hot plate, microwave and gas grill. We loved having access to the very cute covered porch and the backyard and spent many hours relaxing out there. The home is centrally located and is a great neighborhood for walking around. Biking to the hospital was a breeze (under 10 minutes), and driving even quicker.
Great home away from home.
This property was great for my stay in Grand Junction. I traveled with two dogs so having use of the yard was great. Couch is super comfortable and you have a very large TV to make your Netflix experience even cozier. Traveling by myself made cooking in this kitchen easy, you are supplied with a few different appliances. You may just have to get a little creative if you need to cook multiple things at once. The Grill is also available to use but I did not take advantage of it since I have zero grill experience. The bedroom stays pretty dark if you need to sleep during the day and the AC stays nice and cold in there too. C was a great host and was very quick to respond to any needs or concerns of mine. Parking at the house was never an issue. If you have a dog, there is a park close by to walk to and the neighborhood always felt safe to walk in. There is a supermarket close by and downtown is maybe a 7 min drive. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay at this property.
