House in New Orleans, Louisiana
Landlord Tenure: 5 years, 1 month
The housing is a double shotgun built in 1910 with original pine floors and tall ceilings throughout. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances that include a gas range, microwave, dishwasher and frig with water and ice.
The historic home is set in a prime location, close to many local restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops. Magazine street is one block away with great shopping and dining options.

Typical shotgun house. 5 consecutive rooms with no hallway. 2 bedrooms, a room for an office, living room, full kitchen, bathroom. Great front porch for chatting with the neighbors.
From a neighborhood of working class immigrants to one of the hottest neighborhoods in the city, the Irish Channel has a long and storied history. This neighborhood is known for its small cottages and shotgun homes located on narrow lots. Great walking location, close to restaurants, stores, and bus line.
Let the Good Times Roll
This was a fantastic place to stay while I worked in New Orleans! My wife and I enjoyed the community and all the great food on Magazine. Street cars and St Charles street was a short walk away. Ms. Elena the landlord lives next door and was the most gracious and friendly landlord ever. Definitely will choose this again!
