My husband and I are empty nesters. We renovated the lower level of our large home to make an ADU. We used higher quality kitchen and bath appliances and materials (tile, granite, fixtures, etc) because we plan to use this in the future for our own use or a family caregiver. Our home is in a quiet safe neighborhood, near a city walking path, and very near to Trader Joes, and other useful stores.
