Apartment on Family Farm

PERFECT in every way

My partner and I stayed at this property with our Aussiedoodles while on assignment at UVA. The apartment is perfectly cozy and well-appointed, the pool is incredibly refreshing, and the farm and surrounding property is exactly the relaxing setting that is needed after a long work day. The owner/landlord is extremely accommodating and always willing to offer advice about things to do in the area. The drive to and from is BEAUTIFUL and the area is quiet and peaceful. We couldnt have been happier during our stay, and would 100% rebook if our travels take us back to UVA.

Comfy and delightful

The place is nestled on a beautiful grassy farm only 15-20 mins away from Charlottesville/UVA. The landlord was amazingly responsive and friendly during my stay and always made sure i felt comfortable during my stay. I worked alternating night and day shift and never had an issue with noise or sleeping during the day bc she installed blackout curtains.The apartment itself is fantastic and had all the necesites i needed and more. I highly highly recommend this place. I worked a 3 month contract and made my assignment absolutely memorable.

Cozy and Quiet

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was able to bring my cat and enjoy the nature surrounding the apartment. The owner is very friendly and helpful with whatever needs you have. Shes very responsive and quick to help with whatever you need. The pool is freshly renovated and its right outside your door. I love that theres laundry and a full kitchen. The unit has what you need and is very comfortable. The owner provides extra fans and heaters for your comfort as well. Plenty of linen and towels. I would stay again if I traveled back this way. I really enjoyed how quiet it is out here versus living in the main city. Also, the drive to and from UVA is quick, maybe about twenty minutes. The bedroom has blackout curtains which is great if youre night shift. Highly recommend if youre traveling to UVA for work. I love how pet friendly it is here and how nice/helpful the owner is. I stayed for about 6 months and dealt with winter and summer and was comfortable.

Best First Experience Ever

This was my first time renting an apartment with furnished finders and it was a great experience all because of G, the landlord. She was so helpful during the application process, answering all my questions. She took the time to give me a virtual walkthrough which I am grateful for. On arrival, G was super attentive and gave me an introduction to the farm and the apartment. She also gave me recommendations for different activities/restaurants in town because I was new to the area. Throughout my stay, G was available whenever I needed her for anything. The farm is definitely a nice getaway after working at the hospital. The drive to work is only 12 miles give or take and takes about 20 minutes. Definitely recommend deer whistles! The apartment is very spacious and G has provided plenty of kitchen tools, pans, and gadgets if you like to cook. My favorite part of the apartment was the heater - gave it a comfy feeling and kept the apartment warm during the winter.
