Rude, Judge mental, and dirty.

I ended up leaving a month early due to feeling uncomfortable in his home. He yelled and cussed me out in front of my 7 yo for sending him a picture of a puppy. I was trying to help him look at shelters for puppys. He decided he wanted a small one and I had already sent him a Great Dane mix. Because I did this he became rude and acted like he was my father and I disobeyed him. His kitchen was always disgusting, as he would make food on the counter with no plate, and leave all the crumbs and stickyness behind. On top of that he would hit on my mom and ask to date her and ask for her number. It was creepy and made me uncomfortable. He has an old way of thinking, which wouldnt be a problem if he didnt treat me differently just because Im a millennial. He believes women should have small feminine dogs. (Not me because Im a millennial though) I didnt get the money back that I deserved after leaving a month early because of his rude and creepy behavior. DO NOT RENT FROM HIM

House in a cul-de-sac with back deck overlooking lake, nice quiet area with birds and ducks for outside entertainment. Shared kitchen, living room and dining room area and W/D in utility area. Private bedroom, bath and additional sitting area set up in second bedroom area during my stay, which included: chair, loveseat, TV and RV sized frig for additional drinks and snacks. Neighborhood is perfect for nightshift worker. I worked 10 miles/20 mins away at Stonecrest Memorial Hospital in Smyrna. As I accepted perm position, I just needed a short term stay until I learned the area and was ready to set up my own space for long term closer to the hospital. M (landlord and roommate) works during the day and house was quiet for resting and sleeping, but he welcomed you to join him to eat and socialize, watch tv and movies in main living room on nights off.

Comfortable with a Beautiful View

If I were staying in Murfreesboro again, I would look to come back to this welcoming home. I was welcome to use the common areas, including the kitchen. The deck overlooks a lake which offers a relaxing view after long days. Hospitals in the area are less than a 10 minute drive. The property is in a great location, quiet neighborhood with easy access to highways for local attractions. M is fun and helpful, we quickly became friends. You won't regret staying here!

Happy Home

This place was so comfortable. M was gracious, fun and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well every night. Private bath and a another spare room to hang out in. He made me feel at home. It was a very welcomed experience.

Review

I had an amazing stay with M for two months. My room was good size with enough closet space and private bathroom. I was able to use kitchen space for all of my needs as well as the common area. There is also washer and dryer available on the property. Neighborhood is very quiet, is on a cul-de-sac and the neighbors are very friendly. There is also a nice deck that overlooks a lake. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would come back if my job brought me back. I felt comfortable and safe in this home and M is great host. He has a great sense of humor, friendly, and he did everything to make me feel at home. The facility that I worked at (St. Thomas) is within ten minutes or so from the house.
