Safe, quiet neighborhood not far from city center.

I really enjoyed my stay in Magnolia neighborhood. Its quiet and I always felt safe. The building is locked access only with gated garage parking. Street parking is ample if you have more than one car. I worked at Swedish First Hill and have my own car. The commute was typically 20-25 min. Denise, the condo manager, is very sweet and helpful. Roof deck has a fabulous view. The furniture is older but seems to be well cared for. Im a night shifter and there were no blackout shades, but I was able to Command Adhesive my curtains and that worked well. My reason for giving 4 stars was also my reason for leaving even though my contract extended. If I wanted to continue my lease, I was going to have to pay a $700 a month rent increase. I know its summer in Seattle, but I was not willing to pay that. It was also originally listed for $2200 and when I was on the phone was told rent would actually be $2500. I paid that, but would like to see the listed price be accurate.
