Apartment in New Orleans, Louisiana
Landlord Tenure: 5 years, 1 month
You will have half of a historic double shotgun on the quiet end of the French Quarter all to yourself. Relax with a glass of wine and a book on the sunny front porch. When you want to venture out, you are less than 3 minutes walk to coffee, restaurants, and live music. It has a small shared quiet courtyard with an avocado tree and access to a grill. With about 900 sq ft, the home has a full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with iron ...
Not only is this an amazingly quiet block on the residential end of the French Quarter, but the you can hop from porch to porch in the evenings and hang with the neighbors. Let's not forget you are next to all of the bar and restaurants in the French Quarter and also Frenchman Street, the Marigny, and the Bywater. Everything is walking distance. Please Note the French Quarter legally requires a 60 days stay minimum.
Perfect Location
This well equipped home on the residential end of the French Quarter is the perfect home base for exploring music, food and people watching. The owners are very responsive and obviously want tenants to have a great experience. Highly recommended!
I'm ready to move back!
This is an absolute gem of an apartment! Fantastic location. Tons of great restaurants, bars, music venues, museums, and shops all a few blocks from the front door. The front porch has A++ people-watching. The owners who live in the other side of the duplex and lovely people with a wealth of knowledge of the area and plenty of recomendations on where to eat, what to do, and basically how to properly live in the French Quarter. I never had any issues with noise and on-street parking was not as big of an issue as I expected it to be. I'd be happy to move back.
Loved it so much I moved to NOLA!
The perfect porch is no exaggerationthat was my favorite place to hang out and its genuinely on the best block in the FQ. Not only are the hosts stellar (super friendly, always helpful, very responsive, and just good people!), but the whole neighborhood is made of a charming cast of characters who all contribute to the French Quarter magic. As for the house, the bedroom and kitchen are surprisingly spacious and the living room is absolutely comfy enough for a guest or two to crash. My friends loved sleeping on the sofa even though I had an air mattress for them. The space was spotless and fully furnished with everything you could need from cooking utensils to cleaning tools. The area is safe, not too loud, and very walkable. Its also just a few blocks from a Blue Bike hub and a streetcar stop. If you do have a car, theres usually street parking right out front. After staying in this rental for 3 months, I loved NOLA so much I decided to move here!
Yes, the Porch is Perfect.
Met all of the neighbors by having cocktail hour out on the porch. Very New Orleans. Landlord was fantastic. Provided everything promised plus more. Took care of all issues promptly. Minimalist decor for the French Quarter. Somewhat pricey but worth it.
