Great temporary home

This place exceeded my expectations and truly lives up to the glowing reviews. SarahJoy goes above and beyond—she treats you like family, not just a renter. The location is fantastic, and the layout is clearly well thought out and designed for comfort. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Amazing Rental!

I stayed in SJ's downstairs apartment for three and a half months, and as the other reviews stated, the experience did not disappoint. SJ was so easy to work with in getting me everything I needed (and more!) SJ helped to support my two young kids I had with me half time and helped make their experience of transition much easier. The neighborhood is friendly, I enjoyed almost nightly walks on the main roads into Multnomah Village, and explored the nearby forest trails. I was able to spend mornings and evenings under the front patio, which is shaded at all parts of the day. If I could give this place 6 stars out of 5, I would! -BS

Very cozy

I definitely would stay here again!!Loved the vibes of the space and that I was able to make it fit with my nocturnal work schedule so easily. It's a basement apt so naturally you've got spiders looking for warmth but nothing a broom, shoe, or spray couldn't handle lol. S is a delightful human, possibly the sweetest, most accommodating and kind person I've ever met and it shows in her actions! She will work with you and go out of her way to fix things! I don't actually have any negatives about the place! Maybe the only possible thing I could thing of (for balance sake) is the breaker needing some TLC a few times which was a non-issue really. The postal service, however, had so many issues delivering packages.They just wouldn't come or be late, enough that I had to do pickup options,even when guaranteed was paid for. UPS wasn't bad but the US postal service? Absolutely abysmal and if I could review them, I 100% would.I recommended doing pick up options. Amazon was a bit better.

I cannot say enough good things about my stay here! S was a great host, responsive, and generous. My pup and I enjoyed the spacious apartment and stunning backyard. The kitchen is well-equip and the in-unit washer/dryer was a huge plus for us. I already miss my daily walks around this quiet and safe neighbor and exploring the natural area nearby! Would highly recommend to everyone!

Comfy, Perfect Home Away From Home

I stayed in S J home during my 13 week assignment in Portland at St Vincent Hospital. I absolutely loved it! It is in a great location in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. I had my own private entrance and laundry in unit. I travel with my dog and I always felt very safe walking around the neighborhood even at night. It always felt just like home and S J was so nice and welcoming. She was always available and responded within a reasonable time if I ever needed anything. She has a beautiful backyard filled with home grown plants and flowers. My dog was also able to run around the backyard off leash. There is also walkable trails and dog parks super close to the home. I worked night shift and I had no problem sleeping during the day. If I am ever in Portland again I will be contacting S J to see if her place is available. I highly recommend this beautiful 2 bedroom apartment.
