My Miami Family

This was the first time I had rented a shared home room and my experience couldnt have been better. My hosts were straightforward with the house rules and very accommodating to my needs. I always felt safe and welcomed in their home so much so that they became my Miami Family. I will miss my playtime with their fur baby and getting to spoil him. Without a doubt if I do another contract in Miami this is where I will go. I also made friends for life, I know that if I needed to reach out that they would be there in a heartbeat, that is why this address will alway be in my phone as My Miami Home!

Not a good fit

Comfortable and clean room, great temperature. The owners have numerous rules, but it's their house so no issues there. I forgot to complete a few of the rules, which is on me, but they will quickly call you out. You also may get blamed for something you didn't do. The house is as pictured and you have access to all the spaces mentioned in the listing, however they don't actually want you to use them, at least not often. I cooked regularly and utilized the guest tv room and the owners weren't keen on this. They have a large rottweiler and he is aggressive, at least towards me. Unprovoked, the dog snapped at me multiple times. I've never had issues with dogs. They said he's never been aggressive before so maybe you will be fine. If you're only going to sleep and shower here then maybe stay, but overall I wouldn't recommend this place.

Decent 1 month stay

Clean house and comfortable room. Would recommend asking to read house rules before sending deposit as there are several. Hosts are mostly cordial; the female host is a bit intense and micromanages, may make assumptions before asking (ex. myself and another guest were accused of not cleaning up after ourselves when it was in fact her family member..) May be a preferable option if you do not cook or need to be in the kitchen. Also the ad is misleading; the house IS pet friendly...they have a large Rottweiler.

Staying at this property was best decision I've made all year!!

For the price of my stay, I can't believe how amazing it has been for me! The hosts are down to earth, understanding, and available to help wherever they can. I requested to stay at their home to complete a clinical clerkship that took me to two different hospitals, and their household environment has been conducive for my success! Their neighbourhood is extremely safe, clean and quiet. Everything they said would be made available to me as a guest, was, plus more! Their rules are provided, fair and easy to follow. It has truly been an accommodating place to stay. The temperature is always right in the rooms with adjustable vents so the Miami heat ends at the front door. However, if you do want to get in the pool and have a quick refresher, they will have you hooked up to their sound system for music, a lecture, or even YouTube videos to be played out loud while you have a swim. Thank you both for your hospitality, I look forward to returning!

Excellent host

This property is amazing and the owners are very accommodating and nice. Highly recommend this for travel nurses. The bed is very comfortable and dark in the room also in a really nice quiet neighborhood. Dont pass this up if they have availability to stay
