Absolutely incredible

I stayed in this house for a month and honestly didnt want to leave. The owners are extremely nice welcoming, responsive, and they made me feel at home from day one. The location is very quiet and secluded, surrounded by lush greenery that made every morning feel like a private getaway. If youre looking for peace, privacy, and genuinely kind hosts, this is it. Highly recommend!

Peace and quiet close to the hospital

I loved my time at the cottage! This is a great location, very close to Kona Community hospital. Absolutely loved the kitchen which has everything you will need to make a gourmet home cooked meal (rice cooker, multitude of pots and pans, sheet pans etc.) gas range and oven work like a charm and the fridge and freezer are huge. The appliances are all modern and in good working order, big t.v. and good wifi connection. The bed is big and comfortable with an additional sleeper sofa in the family room, plenty of closet space. Cottage stays cool at night and is very peaceful and quiet surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. The hosts Bill and Karine are very kind and quick to respond to any needs or concerns. They picked us up from the airport and offered to drop us off for our return flight. I rented a great car from them and payment of rent was super easy through zelle. Throughout our stay they gifted us with fresh fruits and veggies from the property. I wish I would have stayed longer

3 Month Stay Felt Like Home

My husband and I stayed at this property for 3 months while I was working as a travel nurse at the local hospital and absolutely loved our time there. The property is well maintained, both inside and out. The inside is recently updated. The kitchen is well stocked, with nice appliances. The bed is incredibly comfortable to sleep on and there is extra bedding for the pull out couch, if needed. We loved trying different types of Hawai'i fresh fruit grown right on the property. Though there is no AC, we honestly didn't need it! Because of the elevation, it stays relatively cool and I even used an extra blanket when I went to bed pretty much every night. The couple who owns the property were extremely nice and great communicators. They had great recommendations of what you can do around the island and they were also just fun to talk too. Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely stay again if and when we go back.
