Southside Dadu - Highly Recommend!

I had the pleasure of staying at Southside Dadu for a 9-month stint while completing an internship for my graduate program. As a solo female, it was really important to me to find a place that felt safe and comfortable. Denise's place was just that! The Dadu was located close to Fairhaven in a safe neighborhood that allowed for many walks to restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront. The location is near I-5, without being too close. The Dadu is stocked with everything you could need and includes lots of thoughtful storage. The Dadu has lots of natural light and has such a cozy, inviting feel. Although the Dadu is located next to the main house, I would sometimes go weeks without seeing Denise and had lots of privacy. Whenever there was an issue, Denise responded quickly and would pop by to take care of it as soon as possible. This was a great stop on my adventure and will miss my time spent at the Dadu. Thanks for everything, Denise!

Fantastic place

I stayed for three months this winter while working at WWU, and it was perfect. Cozy, comfortable, well maintained and organized with wonderful light and welcoming decor. D and B were wonderful hosts and made me feel extremely welcome. I would happily stay here again. Great location and sweet neighborhood easy walking distance to campus, downtown and Fairhaven. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Place!

I am so happy that I was able to call this place home for 3 months! It is unbelievably adorable and well furnished with everything you might need and more. The couch and bed are super comfy and the kitchen is incredibly well stocked with the necessities! We also loved the outside table, chairs and fire pit. The location is just about as good as you can get, with access to many trails including ones that lead to Chuckanut, the beach and downtown! The landlords D and B are the sweetest and were always there when we needed help with anything, house related and otherwise. I could not recommend this place enough! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!

LOVE this place!

I stayed here with my partner for a 5 month stint and came back as repeat tenants for another three months this year. I can't say enough good things about the DADU or the landlords D and B. The unit feels private and is very quiet. Cozy but with plenty of space and storage for anything you need. Modern, new appliances and lovely touches and gestures by D and B. Our dog loved the <5 min walk to trails that wind through the forest where she could run and play, hardly ever busy or an even closer walk to the interurban paved bike path that we frequented to bike downtown for drinks with friends or a day by the water. D and B are wonderful, reasonable, helpful and kind people whom we consider friends. Might be my best renting experience ever...and we've moved a LOT. Thank you for making our time in Bham the best!!!
