An Absolute Gem in Historic Old Wethersfield

Susan and David are the most accommodating and kind landlords you could ever hope to have. My wife and I stayed in this beautiful two-bedroom apartment for three months, from February through April. The description in the listing is spot on, but honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. The apartment is an absolute gem—beautifully maintained, comfortable, and full of charm. Being located in historic Old Wethersfield made our stay even more special, with so much character and such a lovely atmosphere all around. Susan and David went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel at home. We can’t recommend this apartment highly enough. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed.

A Little Slice of Heaven

I really lucked out when I found this place on Furnished Finder. It is right in the heart of old Wethersfield, my old neighborhood. The home is lovely. Very spacious, nice and sunny and airy. The hosts are wonderful, very considerate and conscientious. They kept me informed of their comings and going or any work that was being done on the property. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could want. The house had a nice outdoor porch to enjoy your morning coffee or your lunch or evening cocktail. The only drawback for me was a very small bathroom but very manageable. What a great place to spend my summer this year. Thank you Susan and David.

Highly recommend!

Great rental for myself and my partner. Had everything we needed, very clean and lots of space! Having the outside porch was very nice too! Great landlords that live above on the 2/3rd floor of the house, noise was never an issue. They are quick to respond and easy to communicate with! The area of Old Wethersfield is really great, super quaint quiet community, restaurants within walking diatance. We loved staying here and would highly recommend!

A lovely and spacious 2-bedroom

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this apartment unit. It has 2 bedrooms (1 large primary bedroom and a pleasant second bedroom), a large living room/dining room space, and a kitchen with modern appliances, as well as an off-street parking space. One major plus that I wasn't even aware of was the desk in the dining room/living room space where I could comfortably work from home. The space was extremely clean, well-decorated/furnished, and felt like a true home away from home during my 3-month stay. The kitchen was even stocked with pots/pans/plates/silverware. D and S were responsive, kind, and amazing to rent from. This was my first time using Furnished Finder and I had an extremely positive experience. I would highly recommend this unit!

Home away from Home

Enjoyed staying in this house for 6months. The location is great. It is walking distance to the historic main street with nice shops and restaurants. But the street where the house is located is very quiet. Great if your working nights. The house is well equipped with everything you need. It has a spacious lounge, a huge dining table and a kitchen with all the appliances you need to make good food. The rooms are not equal in size though. One is bigger than the other, but both have comfy double beds with blackout curtains. Plus, the landlords are great hosts as well. They are friendly and easy to communicate with. We would have extended our stay if our contracts got extended. Will definitely stay here again in the future, if circumstances permit. Highly recommend! Thanks again for having us.

Property and Hosts are the Best

I stayed here for 4 months and it was the best property I have rented during my 2.5 years as a travel nurse. The hosts are very friendly, while still giving you all your privacy. The area is super cute and safe, with restaurants, parks, and historical sites. This property has everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable, full kitchen with dishwasher, private washer and dryer, dining room, and living room with Roku TV. It also has its own parking spot which was very convienient. Also the locks on the doors are by passcode. I would HIGHLY recommend this location and I wish I could have stayed longer!
