Neighborhood overview

Beautiful quiet neighborhood on a double-wide tree-lined street. Friendly neighbors. Lots of walking paths, a tennis court, parks, close to grocery stores, Trader Joe's, organic market, and large variety of restaurants, banks, medical offices. Only one mile from 270 and 10 minutes from the metro station by bus or car, the bus stop is around the corner.

Above and beyond

Stepping into Peggy's apartment is a delightful experience. The owner's meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout. Every piece of furniture seems carefully chosen to create a harmonious and stylish ambiance. The kitchen, in particular, is a testament to her refined taste. Perfect home with amazing location

This home was beyond amazing. Safe and family friendly neighborhood. Has all that is needed including kitchen, modern bathroom, washer and dryer, living room with tv, queen size bed, and plenty of closet space. Besides this, P was just an excellent host recommending us best local spots and answered any questions we had. The only reason we are leaving is because our baby is due soon and will need multiple rooms, but zero complaints about this place. P and this home will be extremely missed.

I'm glad you were able to find a townhouse nearby to rent for your expanding family. Your positive energy and attitude are infectious. Good house

I stayed in this facility with my husband from December 2023 to the end of March 2024. I was pregnant and we were there with our baby in February-March. The calmness of the neighborhood around the house is wonderful. The inside of the house is quiet and calm. The owner is very sweet and helpful. She was very interested in us and answered every question we had quickly. The house was a sufficient size for us. During our stay, the cleaner came every 2 weeks and we never had a cleaning problem. My next choice will be here. Thanks for the sincerity and friendliness of the landlord.

Do Not Recommend

Our stay here was fine, despite there being a bug problem. Upon moving out, we were accused of damaging two towels and two rugs that led to $215 being withheld from our $1,500 security deposit. The damage was described as "coral stains" which sounded like bleach stains. I informed the owner we do not use any bleach products. I requested photos of the stains and receipt for the cost. My request went unanswered. It was argued that we did not leave the unit in the same condition it was received and violated the lease agreement. There is no mention of towels, rugs, or any other consumables in the lease agreement, which was taken from the internet with the website in the corner. It was suggested that prior tenants typically would bring their own linens. If this was the expectation, it should have been clearly written in the lease agreement. $215 for 2 towels and 2 small rugs is outrageous; a new bathroom set costs $60 on Amazon. Do not recommend.

Previous to the tenant's review I was not informed about there being a problem with bugs. They had unloaded their local storage unit onto the floor of the apartment, piles of their clothing. Despite having a housekeeper clean every two weeks, the piles of clothing made cleaning difficult under their piles. Once the client's moved to their next location the apartment was fully cleaned, and there have been only a couple of small bugs, normal in Maryland, over the last month. One prior client brought her own towels and blankets as she rented the apartment for 9 months and it provided a sense of home for her. Over the last 4 years of renting the apartment there has been no damage to anything, or any towels, until the prior tenant. From researching I've discovered there are certain products, if wiped on towels or spilt on rugs, that bleach the fabrics orange. If washed off of hands there aren't any stains, if rubbed on towels the products stain the fabrics orange.

Artist's Beautiful Studio Apartment

I'm not sure what you might say other than it's self-contained (no shared facilities), comfortable, well-appointed, quiet, calming, bright, quiet, complete, clean, private, artistic and well designed, great lighting. Off-street parking. Nice neighborhood, friendly neighbors, one mile from 270, grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Great for sleeping, resting and relaxing and I'm looking forward to my next visit.
