Beautiful Second Floor Carriage House

This property is very nice, clean, and safe. It is also located in a walking distance to hospitals and restaurants. I have rented this place originally on a monthly basis and after about 7 months i have decided to sign an annual lease and ended up living there for almost 2 years. Overall, I had a good experience living there. However, there were a few things that negatively impacted my experience. Firstly, the owner kept requesting a non-emergent walk throughs (check on air filters, bed bug and water leak inspections) and all of the times it was when i was out the apartment and couldn't be present. This was a no issue to me until yet another "cleanliness" walk through (about 1,5 years into me living there) he sent me an email stating that i needed to remove 5 cans of food from the kitchen counter and place them onto a kitchen shelf... I felt a bit micromanaged at that point. Another fact that I am giving this property 2/5 stars is because I have lived in 3 other apartments in the past 10 years and never have i ever deep cleaned the place better than this one for my final walk through. I have pre-submitted $1000 deposit prior to moving in and thought that if I upkeep the place I would receive it back. I have scheduled a final walk through the rental on my last day of lease (I wanted to make sure the owner would give a verbal confirmation that everything looked good). He did indeed said that everything looked good (besides that stove top, he mentioned that he might need to replace it due to scratches on it and roughly quoted it to be around $200-300) and that we were good to move out. So, we said our byes and left. A week later I reached out to him to check on our deposit and in return I have received a text saying, I have decided to replace the whole stove due to the quote for the labor and stove top summed up close to the cost of the new stove. Basically, he has GIFTED himself a new stove. I have never received a confirmation receipt on this purchase, who knows if he even replaced or bought a stove. I then just replied requesting the rest of my deposit, which I have not received a reply to. A week later I received a paper check by mail with a list of all the deductions totaling around $850. So, the deposit I paid of $1000 was reduced down to around $150

Amazing location

Wonderful unit. Gated parking. Close to amenities and hospitals. The apartment itself is beautiful and spacious. Everything one would need for a great stay!

Fabulous Hosts and beautiful spacious stay.

The property was everything anyone could want. Extremely spacious, clean, quite and gated parking. All the emenities are included and the property hosts are the best people you could hope for. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect spot. Extremely clean. Great Management

Absolutely loved living here. I only moved because I got an out of state job. The property has been family owned for generations and is well looked after. Inside is very modern, but has the exposed brick which makes the place a one of a kind and unique in a great way. Every time someone came in to the apartment their jaw dropped. Layout is great. I never heard the downstairs neighbors unlike other apartments I have lived in. Lots of room for storage, a coat closet, storage closet, as well as a large closet in the bedroom. Gated and assigned parking within 15 feet of the front door (big deal when the city has events like 4th of July). Walking distance from a lot of great restaurants and bars (Hadleys Bar + Kitchen and Pecan Pennys BBQ are personal favorites).

Extended stay

Phenomenal property. Clean, dependable and safe. The property is fenced in with a lot of privacy. My unit was quiet and the neighbors were very respectful of my schedule. The hosts are very welcoming and are very dependable with addressing any needs/concerns. I would recommend to anyone and hope to stay in the future if Im in the area again! -W/H
