Great People, Great House

I really enjoyed my stay here! Elaine and Scott are very friendly and respectful. Living space is clean, bed is comfortable. Full kitchen. Loved being away from the city but close enough to everything you need. There is a local grocery store a mile away. My favorite part was being on enough land for my dog and I to walk and play fetch every day. Definitely recommend!

Best hosts

I have stayed with Elaine and Scott twice now. If you enjoy a tranquil country feel close to downtown this is by far your best choice.

Great place just outside of the city. Quiet and safe for the single traveler. The Youngs are wonderful hosts. You wont be disappointed with your stay here!

Fantastic home away from home experience

What a hidden gem. Just out of the city where the stars are seen on most nights. E&S were wonderful. The fully stocked kitchen is a cooks dream. The place is perfectly furnished. The peace and quiet of this place was something I looked forward to after a crazy day at the hospital. There's a beautiful creek to walk along. E&S are so welcoming and so pleasant. If I am ever in this area again you guys will be my first call!!

Beautiful Property, Fabulous Hosts

E & S were wonderful hosts, incredibly accommodating, kind, helpful, and very respectful of their guest's privacy. The home is beautiful, peaceful, set way back from the road and is a close and convenient drive to anything you need including groceries, Target, Walmart, shopping malls, etc. They are about 30 minutes from the city of St. Louis, but far enough out in the country to feel like you are in the country, and you are! Lots of deer, turkey, and other wildlife are abundant on their 9+ acres. The home is super clean and the hosts have thought of just about everything you could ever need or want. I had a wonderful stay during a difficult time and could not have asked for more. Thank you E and S!!! -M

Home away from home

I absolutely loved my time here. E and S are here wonderful landlords. They were very inviting and friendly and showed thoughtful hospitality. I rented the master suite and it was very comfortable and spacious with plenty of storage. It had its own bathroom. The kitchen has everything that you need. The living room area is very comfortable. We had our own utility room. I worked night shift, and it was very quiet and I was able to sleep well during the day. I enjoyed looking for deer as I came and went. Thank you so much for allowing me to stay with y'all!

Great hosts

FANTASTIC place to stay that is very private and safe. It is more than lodging, it's a retreat. Both E and S were very attentive hosts and they provided a home away from home. The bright spot of my work trip was being being treated like family by the Y's.

Amazing Stay!

This loving home was exactly what I needed. This was my first time renting a private room from an individual and Im so happy I surrendered! The home is absolutely beautiful! Tuck away and private but so close and convenient to everything you may need. The host, E is a SUPER HOST! Very generous, thoughtful and understanding. She even mailed my tablet back home to me without question! This is a gem! Dont pass this place up if your looking for a home away from home!

Perfect Accommodations for Travelers

Perfect for any traveling professional. S and E were excellent hosts. They were very friendly and accommodating with everything I needed when I started my stay. Their home was beautiful and very quiet away from the busy city of St. Louis. The bedroom and shared common space was adequate and comfortable during my stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay thats close to everything without the craziness of the city. Great place to relax and rest when not working.

Country Tranquility

This pictures of this property dont do it justice, especially the outside. If you appreciate peace and quiet at the end of the day, this is the place to be. Youre 5 minutes from I55, so the location is no inconvenience at all. There is also a sense of security here. The landlords are second to none. They go out of their way to make sure issues are taken care of at once and that you dont feel like a stranger. What an awesome find!
