You MUST stay here!

I stayed here for five months and absolutely loved it. The property is stunning! The views were just jaw-dropping. The setting is serene and quiet, perfect for early mornings with coffee or evenings spent watching the sunset fade into a sky full of stars. You can actually hear the wind move through the trees at night, and its so peaceful that it almost feels like time slows down. The space itself is beautifully maintained and designed for comfort; it manages to feel both cozy and expansive. Jay was fantastic: kind, responsive and genuinely invested in making sure everything was just right throughout my stay. Ive rented many places over the years, but this one stood out not just for its beauty, but for the sense of calm it brought. Id stay again in a heartbeat and cant recommend it highly enough.

Great Guest Rental Oasis

Jays place: Great mountain ridge line view with the sun setting behind it. Private outdoor deck can be a nice place for soaking up some sun and reading a book. The rental is up some internal stairs, which gives it a sense of privacy, and also a perched up feeling - which I really like. The studio is very open and spacious, with a large working desk in one corner that also has a nice view. Large walk-in closet with doors help keep the main space feeling uncluttered, open and tidy. Super comfy bed, and spacious couch/ seating area too. The main room is open in the middle- and this makes it a great place to throw down a yoga mat and stretch with a beautiful view through the patio French doors - whether they are open or shut. I have been a single female renting here, and I feel very comfortable being here in all ways. Jay is great, and its nice to have conversations with him from time to time. I highly recommend his place to both singles and couples. Aloha janine

what a view!!

I'm a travel nurse who worked at Kaiser-San Rafael and this rental was everything and more that I was looking for. The commute to hospital was easy and traffic free. J is an excellent landlord who is easy to communicate with and available when needed. My fianc and I truly enjoyed our stay at what we called a little piece of heaven". The view from the balcony and bed is breathtaking and the neighborhood is SOO quiet and peaceful! I would definitely recommend staying here. We ended up extended our stay bc we loved the place and location so much. Thanks J for your hospitality :)

More than we hoped for

J's apartment is perched on a hillside overlooking Sleepy Hollow Valley. Our extended 10-month rental while we waited for a new home to be built, could not have been in a better location. We loved the quiet neighborhood, the pleasant streets for walking, San Anselmo's offerings, Marin County's scenic enticements, and Napa & Sonoma just an hour up Hwy 101. What particularly stands out are the views from the apartment. The interior space is magnified by the views of the surrounding hills, trees, deer often encountered on a walk or drive, and the frequent sounds of silence punctuated by coyotes and owls at night. If you desire Nature, peace, a place truly apart from any hustle or bustle, this apartment is a wise choice. J is a good man and a good landlord who addresses concerns readily. We are thankful we chose to spend our interim time between homes here and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone.
