THE BEST

My husband brought us to Surry Maine from the tristate area for a year to work as a doctor. We ended loving this area so much that we stayed for close to 2 years (the dates would not let me go back for me than a year). Jessica worked with us so that we could extend our stay in her beautiful home for as long as we needed. This home has so many great features - the sky lights, the heated floors in the bathroom, the porch swing outside, the fire pit, and being less than a 5 min walk from a private beach with CLEAR water where we have seen eagles, loons and even a seal on 2 occasions! Also, Jessica lent us their kayak and life vest so that we could do water activities! The house itself FEELS like a home. It is a peaceful and happy space. You will have a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher in this home. If any problem ever arises, Jessica or her husband respond quickly and help to resolve it! That is the kind of landlord you want - a caring, responsible, and responsive one! Jessica cares about this house and even put in updates since we have been here - new bedroom sets and mattresses in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and a whole new set of pillows, as well as repainting the private porch attached to the master bedroom! The landlords really have your back which is important when you are living far from your family. For example, there was an incident where our car would not start, and Jessicas husband came over to give us a jump and saved the day - and when I would ask for recommendations to places to eat or things to do, they always gave us the best and most fun ideas. Although I am ready to go back to the tristate area and to family, it is bittersweet, as we will most definitely miss this house and our wonderful landlords! If you get the opportunity to rent this home, or any home from Jessica, I absolutely 100% recommend the experience!

The Perfect Cabin in Maine

Absolutely loved my stay at J's cabin, couldn't have asked for a more perfect place! Very clean and nicely furnished, with thoughtful touches like a heated bathroom floor and towel warmer. The location was amazing - quiet and private but only a 10 minute drive from Ellsworth, grocery stores, Walmart, etc. Perfect for visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor, as both are less than a 1 hour drive. I was lucky enough to stay for a few weeks in October and the views from every window were amazing. J was an excellent host, very responsive and welcoming. Definitely looking forward to coming back someday!

Fantastic stay!

We loved our stay at J's property. The home is well equipped and centrally located to enjoy the best of Blue Hill, Acadia, Ellsworth and more. J is responsive and attentive to everything we needed throughout our stay. The home is located a mere 300 feet from beach which made nightly swims and sunsets easy and relaxed. Enjoy!

Absolutely wonderful!

This house is in a beautiful location in Surry with walking access to the incredibly scenic Patton Bay. It is conveniently close to both Ellsworth and Blue Hill- which provide plenty of options for grocery shopping and dining out. The post and beam style is gorgeous and the house is nicely decorated, well kept, cozy, and extremely clean. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you might need during your stay, and the bathrooms are lovely (especially the one with the sky light in the shower!) The large windows provide lots of natural light and the wrap around porch is a wonderfully relaxing place to hang out. In addition to the excellent location and the beautiful home- the owners are wonderful. Communication was timely and clear, and they were very helpful with everything including trash pick-up, plowing, yard work, replacing a light bulb or appliance, and answering any questions I had. It was a dream calling this place home for five months. I highly recommend it!

Great overall!

The cutest and coziest little cabin house. The house, property and location were all perfect. J was so thoughtful and easy to communicate with, we couldnt have asked for a better host! Easy 10 min drive to Maine Coast hospital plus access to the private beach at the end of the street. One of the best experiences so far!
