Unmatched Hospitality: A Home Away from Home

Staying with Vivian was one of the best experiences Ive ever had. She is one of the kindest, most genuine people Ive met, and I felt instantly at home. As a medical student visiting from California for a rotation at UNM, I was initially skeptical when my mom found this place on Furnished Finder, but every glowing review about Vivian is absolutely true - she has a heart of gold. We had many late-night, sweet and real conversations that spoke to her warmth, strength, and generosity. I felt like I had another mom to lean on during my stay. Her home is spotless/clean, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. I especially enjoyed sitting in the lovely backyard with a hot drink, taking in the fresh air and views. And then theres Hank and Bella, her two adorable Shih Tzus, who never failed to brighten my day. Vivian prioritizes your comfort while respecting your privacy, creating a space that feels warm and welcoming. I feel so lucky to have found this place and even luckier to have gained a lifelong friend. I genuinely look forward to visiting again. If you have the chance to stay here, dont hesitate! You wont want to leave.

I couldnt have asked for a more comfortable place to stay, with amazing views and with easy access to everything I wanted to do in Albuquerque! The amenities not listed would fill a book. I felt completely at home. And the landlord is one of the most wonderful people I have ever known. Glad to now call her my lifelong friend. I will be coming back.

Best Room in Albuquerque

Miss V is the best tenant I could have asked for. I always felt at home in her place, always so clean and cozy, you do feel like you're among family with her. If you need a room to stay in Albuquerque, you really won't regret renting this room, it is also in a very safe area in the city. Thank you Miss V for your kind hospitality and always taking care of me while I stayed with you. P.S. I use the Barbie cup and the blanket you gave me all the time :)

Pure Paradise!

I was blessed to find the perfect home for me which also included a new friend. My room and the entire home is so clean and comfortable and I felt at home the moment I arrived. I have plenty of space in the kitchen for all of my food and Vivian has literally anything I would or could need for any type of food creations. I have my own parking space, my own beautiful bathroom and the back yard is a gorgeous paradise full of flowers, plants and the cool breezes that make the windchimes sing. As for V, we became fast friends, going on adventures, having long chats, enjoying meals together and getting our nails done too! If you have the opportunity to rent in this home in either room 1 or room 2 then I highly encourage you to come on over! You will have as much privacy as you like while also having the companionship that is a gift to any traveler that is far from home, family and friends. I will be in room 2 until February of 2024 and I welcome anyone to join me in paradise :)

Lovely Hostess

My stay at Mrs.Vs home was the best shared home experience I have ever had. She is a kind and caring host and gives you plenty of privacy if you want it. We had our own parking space in the driveway, the bedroom was spacious, and the private bathroom had plenty of storage. When we arrived everything was impeccably clean. The bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen are well stocked and she has all the gadgets you could ever want. V is very organized and neat which makes sharing spaces no issue. Aside her personally making sure the house is clean, she has someone come clean the house from time to time. She gave us plenty of opportunities to cook and do laundry throughout the week. The house has a beautiful environment and outstanding mountain view. If any issue came up she would get it fixed or taken care of promptly. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio, spending time with the puppies and chickens that produce yummy eggs. An amazing stay! I would 100% rent from her again.

Great Place!

The house is located in a good NE heights neighborhood right near the beautiful Sandia Mountains - a very short time to get to great hiking and biking spots! It was also not far from the interstate so getting to the hospital for work was quick. Ms. Vivian is so sweet and a great host! She also has someone come in to clean every couple weeks so that you dont even have to worry about cleaning! The room was spacious enough for all my stuff and I had my own bathroom. The den was my favorite part of the house where I could watch TV by the fire! Overall great house and great host, perfect place for someone like a travel nurse who will be here for a few months!

Great stay at Casa Martinez

I had a great experience at this property! The house was well maintained and very accessible to renters. I especially enjoyed using the fully furnished kitchen. The area is also very nice ans quiet, with a small park ~1/4 away and the Mental trailhead into the Sandia foothills ~0.5-1 mile away. Overall a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend this listing to other renters.

Home Away From Home

Don't look anywhere else!!! This is by far the BEST Place I have ever rented. Super clean and quite. Very peaceful home. I felt right at home from the very first time I stepped in. Amazing kitchen. Loved cooking in it. You have every gadget you could ever need or think of. Beautiful view of the mountains right from the front door and living room windows. Worked nights and never had any issues with noise during the day. Has a paved trail close to the house that runs along the mountains. It is perfect for a run or walk. There are designated lanes off of the main road for cycling. This home is in a safe part of ABQ. Never felt unsafe when walking on the trail early in the mornings or late in the evenings. Property manager is phenomenal!!! I'm not renting anywhere else in ABQ.

Bedroom 2 This property has been a great place to live while away from home. I came in January and my contract is ending in April. Mrs. V is very welcoming, friendly and outgoing.The room is spacious and comfortable and having a private bathroom is very nice. The house is in a very nice neighborhood in a good area of town.
