City Retreat- Private Studio- Tranquil Living!

Great stay

My wife and I stayed in this ADU for a couple months over the summer. The unit was very new, clean, and had good lighting. The neighborhood was your classic LA neighborhood, good for walking, friendly neighbors, and a good coffee shop nearby (Madlab) as well as several restaurants along Pico. Overall location was great, but would recommend having a car. Easy access to LACMA, Culver City, and others. Friendly and hospitable hosts, including a very friendly cat, Scamp, who hangs out in the backyard often and always enjoys attention. Overall would recommend!

Quiet and Just Perfect

This unit is brand new. The owner raised her garage and built a studio unit. Its fabulous. Beautifully decorated with creams and white. New kitchen, appliances and washer/dryer. Bathroom is good size and well lit. Has a dining area too. Great large TV with satellite cable. Good Wi-Fi too. The owner is very sweet and always available. But never intrusive and stays in her house so we definitely felt on our own in the back. The location is in the middle of retail, restaurants and hospitals. The parking was never an issue and most of the time we were able to park directly in front. Once I even forgot Monday street cleaning and the landlady texted me to hurry and move our vehicle as to avoid a ticket!! The neighborhood is very safe. We never felt worried or afraid. LA is intimidating but after a week we felt very at home in this cute, quiet casita. I highly recommend anyone to stay there. And we were 2 people staying so we can vouch that its comfortable, very new, very clean. I give 5 stars for this place.
