This is a single-person-owned, rehabilitated, 1915 row house near the Georgia Ave/Petworth metro and three hospitals, in a nice, walkable, tree-lined neighborhood. By rehabilitated, I mean I've tried to keep the original style, but upgraded with modern conveniences and paint colors. Right now, the back bedroom is available, the room shown with a platform bed against a brick wall and a Juliet balcony next to it. The room is sunlit, with plants and 2 desks, and has a deep closet. Best yet, there is sunroom attached, which has a small dining table in it, a wicker lounge chair, and lotsof plants and windows! The bathroom is right outside the door to your bedroom.
Neighborhood overview
Petworth DC is one of the favorite neighborhoods for a nice, relaxed life with 100+ year old architecture (for the most part). Rowhouses, sidewalks and big trees, farmers market, great library, great parks, and a wonderful restaurant row, with some great thrift stores here and there. Bikeshares and good lanes are prominent, several bus lines go close to the house, and the Metro is walkable.

Cozy and beautiful
I had an amazing time in Annettes house, it is very well located, near to the metro station, the grocery store, and the Childrens National Hospital. It is a lovely neighborhood, it has a public swimming pool very near. The bike stop is one block from it too! The house is spacious, the decoration is beautiful, the furniture is comfortable plus the kitchen is very complete. I would recommend to stay here. And thank you Annette for being such a great roommate! :)
