Travel Nurse Stay

Im a travel nurse from GA and worked at EMMC for a solid year. I rented this apartment the entire stay and I cant say enough great things about the property or the landlord, Sherry. I was literally 3 mins from work and 2 mins from the grocery store and all the hot spots downtown. The apartment was beautiful, well stocked and decorated so comfy and welcoming. Sherry is an amazing host and made everything so easy. I wont be staying anywhere else when I go back!

Great stay

This was a great place to stay, very safe location and very walkable to nearby places. There was everything I needed to have a long, comfortable stay. Would recommend to stay!

Home Away from Home

We had a perfectly cozy stay for 3 months at George Rider. The whole unit is SPOTLESS and everything is accurately described and pictured within the listing. Quiet and safe, never had a problem with whatever - felt like home away from home. SW is a great host for keeping the unit ultra clean, for anticipating everything a tenant would need, also being informative about the neighborhood and for being true to her words. Overall amazing host and amazing place to stay. I would happily stay here again.

Perfect fall home

I was looking to find a safe and pleasant home for my first travel assignment as a nurse and S provided that and more. This home is absolutely cozy. It was the perfect size for me. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The Home had all the amenities I was looking for. There is even a washer and dryer in unit. I stayed during the fall and beginning of winter. The leaves were absolutely beautiful when they changed, there is a walking trail near the river, the city of Bangor and Brewer have everything you need in regards to shopping grocery and restaurants. Portland is about a 2 Hour drive so very doable. If you want to go explore the big city. I had an amazing time here, and I am very grateful to the host for letting me stay.

Lovely Historic Apartment

I was lucky enough to find this little gem in Brewer for my travel assignment, and would definitely stay again! Just over the bridge from Bangor. The home is historic, and has plenty of charming features like built-in cabinets, fireplace (electric insert upgrade) and hardwood floors. The master has plenty of space and is very comfortable. The 2nd bedroom is perfect for an overnight guest or child. The owner has provided plenty of comforts such as a French press coffeemaker, cookware, and dishes/ flatware. There is also a selection of coffee and teas available. Even the bathroom has nice amenities like locally made soaps, bath soaks, and lotions. The TV has options for streaming, and there are plenty of books and puzzles as well to keep busy. The location is super convenient to local hospitals (less than 5 minutes!) and shopping or restaurants in both Bangor and Brewer are nearby. Bar Harbor is under an hour, and an easy trip to a lovely coastal town. The Riverwalk in Brewer takes you along the Penobscot River, and offers a beautiful view to relax and enjoy the day, with downtown Bangor right over the bridge if you have more time. Communication was excellent, the unit is secure and in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Easily a home away from home.

Awesome Apartment

This apartment is super nice, and it is in a wonderful neighborhood! Its a very easy commute to St. Josephs or to Eastern Maine. The property owner, S, is super helpful and accommodating! I highly recommend this apartment for any travel nurse. I brought my husband and 12 year old daughter with me, and this place was perfect for us.
