Travel night shift RN w contract to hospitals about an 8 min. drive across the river. For my take home pay & stipends, the cost of rent in this town is outrageous-Across the board-Embarrassingly greedy given the homeless problem in all of our faces. However, I was blessed to acquire a rental VERY last min-I was expected as soon as my contract was signed. The owner said my cat was fine @ inquiry. I arrived-the prop mgr. stated opposite; indiscriminately she proceeded to charge me another 350$ deposit & then another 200$ rent. She wouldn't communicate or reason &I couldn't leave.

Safe, affordable, perfect for rotations at UPMC

I was fortunate to find this unit just days before moving to Harrisburg for the month, mainly because the property manager generously worked with me on very short notice to expedite the application process to ensure I had a place to stay. This apartment was significantly more affordable than I saw on other booking sites, and the unit is fully furnished and provides all the amenities you need. Regardless of what hour I was coming and going, I always felt safe because of the on-site parking right next to the building entrance. The apartments are also conveniently just a 5-minute drive to and from the hospital. Id highly recommend looking into these lofts if you are coming to this area for a hospital rotation.

Safe, Quiet, Peaceful

I stayed here for about three months while working in Hershey. This place was great. Very quiet, I hardly saw or heard anyone else. Management was great and quick to fix any issues. I stayed in winter and was worried about being cold. If anything, I was hot. The windows let in so much heat that I was often tempted to turn on the a/c in winter. Also, very secure. I would definitely consider this place if I were working in the area again.

Excellent Apartment and Great Management

This was the best furnished apartment to stay in if you're doing a contract at UPMC Harrisburg, Holy Spirit or UPMC Mechanicsburg. The value of this apartment was worth it! I stayed here for 3 months while on contract with UPMC Mechanicsburg. It's conveniently located in walking distance to many great restaurants, coffee shops and the Broad Street Market. I loved the fact that I could walk around safely and enjoy walking along the river. It's an added bonus to even have a parking spot at the apartments. The apartment it self was spacious and quiet. It had all the amenities that you need for being away from home. The property manager was great! She was very welcoming and accommodating. She took the time to make sure that I had everything I needed for my stay and was available if anything needed to be fixed in the apartment. They also worked around my night schedule to make sure my apartment was cleaned once a month. I'd definitely stay here again if I ever am back in Harrisburg!

Wonderful Physical Space, but Terribly Managed

The title encapsulates the spirit of my review. The property has great monetary value for what is offered. T (Property Manager) is a terror of a property manager and the reason why I would recommend people dodge this place. The apartment was dusty and had hair scattered when I moved. T, or her service workers destroyed my humidifier. When I told her what happened, she blamed me for breaking it, while I was at work. T and I ended up yelling at my doorway because I told T I desired to meet in an office to discuss business. T, or her service members changed my ability to control the temperature, and then denied doing that, others complained. There was supposed to be 5G throughout the place, but I wasn't able to get 5G into my place until my last week. Many others who live there do not also. The building also has Airbnb spaces available that I attempted to book in order to accommodate my girlfriend while she and other family was here. She denied that booking request.
