Home away from home

I felt very spoiled by S and D! The owners are very kind and considerate. Their home was clean, comfortable, quite and felt like home. The community was also very welcoming and had community activities if you want to get to know others living nearby. I enjoyed nighttime swims in the community pool. There is an elevator and a cart that made moving in and out very convenient. I was there for a school rotation at Banner Del E Webb which was a very close and easy commute.

This place is perfect for whom will be working at Banner Del Webb! Its a 5 minutes drive. From Banner Boswell (where my contract was) its around 20 minutes. There was traffic, but it worked pretty well too! S and D's condo is in great shape and it had everything a travel nurse needs. The bedroom was great: te bed was very comfortable; there was plenty of room for clothes and other belongings; and there was a bonus TV! Since it was summer, and I needed to wake up early, it had awesome natural light. At night, theres some light from the parking area, but that isnt very noticeable if you close the blinds. The bathroom and shower were pretty good as well. The living and dining rooms were also very comfortable. The TV was big and there was access to Netflix and Prime. The internet worked perfectly. My husband visited me twice and was able to work remotely without any issues. The kitchen is very well equipped and I could cook all the time! Ive felt beyond satisfied with that. Theres a den, which I didnt use. Theres a single bed there, which seemed very comfortable though. Itd be a good option for nurses who work nights. Its a darker room (no windows) and the temperature was always lower than the other areas. Talking about the temperature, summer in AZ is extremely hot. Having a good AC is a must! There were issues with that 3 times. The first time, it totally stopped. It was time to be replaced they said. S and her husband had their contact in town and it was done in a few days. I was given options by them, which was perfect. The other two times it wasnt cooling enough, action to fix it was taken quickly as well. S was fast to answer and to find someone to go check on it. The process to let them in (since I was working) was easy as well and it didnt bother me. The condo has a very nice balcony, with chairs! Adjacent, the property has a salt water pool, a whirlpool, two barbecue grills, and a party/game room. I didnt use the last three, but I went to the pool almost every day and it was awesome! Most of the evenings I was there just by myself. But on days off and weekends, there were some very friendly neighbors. All in all, it was a very good place for me to stay. Id go there again, no doubt, if I worked another contract at the same hospital. Thanks S and D!
