A home away from home

Very comfortable stay with the landlord just a call or message away. The room was great and kitchen has everything you need. Stayed 3 months in this location with the home basically to myself. Property is also within walking distance to a great park and a very short drive to grocery stores. Would recommend to future renters.

Quiet home to yourself

The listing is presented as a room, but it was really nice to basically have the entire house to myself with occasional visits from the landlord. The home is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. A compact car will fit comfortably on one side of the driveway. Otherwise a larger car/SUV will always have a parking space in front of the house. Tenants will enjoy an easy 12 minute commute from the house to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital parking lot. The house is not far from the expressway to go to LA (less than 1 hour away with no traffic). C was a great host and always responsive if I needed him. I only gave 4 stars because I feel future tenants would appreciate having the shelves cleared off in the bedroom for a little more storage of personal belongings and window treatments up for privacy. Also, it would be nice to have the TV connected in the living room to have an extra space to lounge outside of the bedroom. Otherwise, the home was a good place to be for my 8 week assignment.
